Club Level Section

Is there an unwritten rule about cheering, standing and getting excited in the club sections? I'm usually a nose bleed guy, but I did not enjoy the fans in that section. Too mellow and no excitement from the surrounding fans for the Failcons losing. I was pretty disappointed. The nose bleed section is awesome with fans. My .02. When Ivory made the BEASTMODE run, I jumped up going nuts and a lady stated that when the offense is on the field, they don't stand, cheer or anything. Doctors and lawyers and such...
Just curious of any unwritten rules. I will be staying in the nose bleeds with my fellow WHODATS from this point forward lol.

if you paid for your ticket, show your support for the saints. To hell with anyone else when one of our's scores on a 50+ yard play.
Ive personally never seen this problem. Especially against a rival.

It is an unwritten rule. They pay $200+ a ticket to get away from the blue collars. There's a place and a role for everyone in the dome.

She said people don't stand & cheer when they score a TD? Cause that's a lie

I agree. I have more fun in my nose bleed seat. I will not go down to club level anymore. I like my frans and crazy fans in the uppers! WHODAT! Beat Palmeri and the Faders!

We routinely stand in the Bunker area. Stand for every defensive 3rd down, every Saints score and any other big moment......
Don't know anywhere that does not. Club section needs to stand and cheer or GTFO!

Not being an a-hole and jumping up in the middle of the play should not be considered an unwritten rule. It's being a decent considerate person. After the play? Fine, jump up all you want. In the middle? The people behind you have no warning and miss the play or a part of it.

Bull fricking shite on all of that. When I'm at the Dome and the Saints make a big play, you better believe I am going to stand up, get crunk, cheer, yell, or whatever the hell I want. Don't like it? Tough shite, you should be cheering too.

My Dad's tickets are in club and I have never seen anything other than cheering, drinking and yelling...

I didnt read all that.
Terrace is the best place to sit. Every where else you get those "sit down and be quiet. This is a football match and i intend to watch it with honor. Honey, please get me another Chardonnay from the waiter" people. No thanks.

You haven't been in your seat all year

I know. I only came out my study cave once this season. I went to the Chargers game to watch Drew break the record. School is draining my life away. I miss my section every damn Sunday. Im hoping to make it to the 49ers game, but realisticly i prob will only make it to watch us get revenge on the Panthers at the end of the season.

I had tickets In section 634 row 39 for a few years. A few people became great friends over the years. I always wanted to sit in the club level and when the time came for them to move the press box I had first dibs and grabbed club level seats.
The OP is correct, those are the snobbiest fans I ever ran across. We ended requesting to move back up to the Terrace. Now I stand up the whole game and talk back and forth with Bobby Hebert and Mike Detillier, shake hands every game with Mickey Loomis, watch the replays and live stats in the monitors, 20 steps to the bathroom....... Needless to say me and the ole lady love it up there.
She actually went sit with her sister in the club so I could bring my son Sunday and she said its the same way and still prefers the terrace.

Oh i heard. I might not make it to the best section in the dome often this year, but that doesn't stop everyone in it from telling me what I'm missing

I usually sit in the club when I go and it is definitely subdued compared to the rest of the dome. But people defintiely stand up on a big third or fourth down and everyone I see is cheering

My tix are plaza level and I've always found my section to be just as fun and rowdy as anywhere else in the stadium. And when I did sit in the club section a few seasons ago, I did find it more subdued. But I don't think it's a cost thing since both areas cost about the same. I just think that the people who choose to pay that price for seats higher up instead of plaza in exchange for certain amenities are just looking for a different sort of game experience. Nothing wrong with that; just something I wouldn't enjoy as much.
