I usually sit in the club when I go and it is definitely subdued compared to the rest of the dome. But people defintiely stand up on a big third or fourth down and everyone I see is cheering

yea same here.

I mean if you stand up all game i would say something too.

standing up for big plays or TDs or 3rd down, seems pretty normal when i sit in the club

I would guess that's what the OP means. I've never sat in a section where people didn't get up for 3rd downs, cheered on TDs, etc.

Is there an unwritten rule about cheering, standing and getting excited in the club sections?

I don't know but I got tapped in the back and asked to sit down after the 1st Qtr sack fumble of Vick. I said "in a minute" like a boss...but then sat down after about 20 seconds like a bitch.

Probably would have reacted differently if they were my seats and I wasn't with clients.

Long time season ticket holder and primarily a "lurker" on this board but I felt the need to post on this since I've been in both sections. I grew up sitting in the terrace - fans much cooler and into the games up there, generally speaking. My family got rid of those during a down season (pre-Katrina, I was not happy) and I got some club level seats for myself and some friends when the dome was renovated. I love sitting in the club section because the seats are awesome but almost all of the seats around us have a revolving door of random "business client" types which really sucks. Some are into the game but most are pretty subdued. Whenever some rando makes a comment I typically just let them know that I pay for my season tickets, plan on enjoying the game however I damn well please, and I know they're there on a free ticket for one game - shuts them up every time.

That's where the fake fans sit. Tell them to eat a dick - be loud, or just come to 649 where it's rowdy

I sat in the club for the Chargers game and went nuts. So did all the high-society types around me.

Not being an a-hole and jumping up in the middle of the play should not be considered an unwritten rule. It's being a decent considerate person. After the play? Fine, jump up all you want. In the middle? The people behind you have no warning and miss the play or a part of it.

It depends on the game. I've had some like that and others with nothing but high society people with kids who aren't into the game. Regardless, I'll be crushing beers and enjoying the game

I sat Club Level for the Falcons game last year around Christmas and everyone was going crazy. I loved those seats and would love to sit there again someday.

Terrace is the best place to sit

This is in the South Endzone, 3rd level, correct?

Never sat there. Trying to get tickets for the 49er game in the Terrace.

I love my club seats and just about every one of my neighbors. The only exception ironically being some white trash people who scream like banshees at the top of their lungs during things like xps.

But everyone around me yells, high gives and will stand up on a really big play.

Would I trade sections? Yes, but only because I believe my only club benefit is how quick I can go to the bathroom. But I still wouldn't go to the 600's

When I'm at the Dome and the Saints make a big play, you better believe I am going to stand up, get crunk, cheer, yell, or whatever the hell I want. Don't like it? Tough shite, you should be cheering too.

I don't give a shite what you do once the play is over. But jumping up suddenly, while the ball is in midair and not yet caught is an a-hole move. Even if I'm quick to jump up as well, I'm going to miss the catch or drop.

I know everyone in here is a SUPERFAN like no other(since 2006) but that doesn't mean you have to be a dick in the middle of every play.

99% of the dome does this on a deep pass

Sat there Sunday row 20. Great time. everybody was rowdy and fun. Had 2 falcon's fans in front of me and even they were having fun. There was one big guy with a flask of what looked like rose' in his hand mouthing off to a falcons fan and his wife right behind us. That was entertainment for a while too.
