You really haven't watched a lot of LSU under Les have you?
Our biggest problem for the past four years has been the leash he's put on our QBs and pathetic offensive creativity.

Last night, he let him off the leash and trust was built. A foundation was laid.

What Mett did last night very well could win us the MNC next year.

Big game Bob? The guy who hasn't won a big game in a decade?

Gary Patterson? While good he hasn't really been challenged.

Chip Kelly? The guy Miles blew the doors off of?

Spurrier? Has he even beaten Miles?

Mullen? The guy who until this year couldn't win a game other than Ole Miss in the west?

Muschamp? He might be good but hasn't shown me enough to prove he can sustain

Richt? I won't even

Urban? The coach where once he lost Tebow could no longer compete?

I'm at a loss

THIS

Miles showed up last night, when he opens up the offense, he's as good or better than any coach in the U.S.

proud of the team, but I'm not backing the coaching on stupid calls sorry
Players showed up. Crowd showed up. Everything was in place until the Les Miles Monster showed up and wrought destruction. (Even the normally sane John Chavis was effected on that last drive with that insane prevent defense BS)

Stupid coaching decisions in big names are now becoming common place and are the rule instead of the exception.

Aren't all you L.S.U. students, fans and alumni fed up with being taken out of big games by the head coach going brain dead when the bright lights come on? The players deserve better.

And time is running out for all the sunshine pumping excuse making buttock smoochers and their "Les is better than anybody we could hire" or "Did yall forget about the 90's" or "Les is the best man for L.S.U. right now" attitude.

Many L.S.U. power brokers are fed up with coaching mistakes costing us games and it's not just one little mistake here and there either. If there was any doubt, this was the game that broke the camels back.

Storm clouds are brewing.

BTW, yall like hearing that Rammer Jammer crape' in Tiger Stadium? Shouldn't have happened Saturday. That game was ours until stupidity shot an arrow into the collective hearts of us all.

Think about what somebody from another school would say about Miles. You named one bad thing about each coach, and that's about all there are for them. Miles has numerous things wrong with him.

We have some of the best talent in the country, and I haven't seen a coach do so little with so much talent

I don't like Miles.
I never really liked Miles.
I like Miles less as each year goes by. (and each game)
I have hundreds of reasons why I don't like him.
(You know them all)
I won't change my mind.
I can still be a true Tiger fan and not love Miles.
I love the Tigers, I've been a Tiger Fan for years and always will be.

This is what I'm saying. Not Trying to be a negatiger but damn we were playing bama and miles pulls this crazy fake fg. Nama isn't ranked #1 for no reason. Take out the fake fg, 54 yard fg attempt, and the prevent defense and we win this game.

Here is what people are trying to say.....only reason people are satisfied is because of the media. Because no one gave us a shot and we were an 8 1/2 underdog, fans are "satisfied"! I ask these fans, "if LSU was favored, would u still be satisfied?" Bottom Line is LSU had a better team than Alabama and in any game when you have the better team, you should win!!

So if you have a better team than the "Almighty Alabama", you should be playing for another national championship, correct? That's the way a lot of us think. The rest of us will be "satisfied" with a 11-2 season. Guess what another 82% winning percentage!!!! So is an 11-2 a successful season ( fits the 82% rule), when you should be playing for a national championship? Some of you do; I don't. Time and time again Miles bad coaching decisions cost LSU opportunities to play in bigger, more lucrative bowl games. When is enough, enough?

It's great preparation to have trick plays. I thought we would need some going into the game. However, after watching the first quarter, I realized we were just as good as Alabama, if not better. Gadget plays are used to gain or switch momentum; OR if you feel your overmatched. None of the above was true vs Alabama. (Where were they vs Fla)..if he coached last nights ball game, like he coached every other game, it's 7/6 at half. Onside kick wasn't necessary ( even though it didn't hurt LSU)... In 2nd half, Defense went 3 and out, 3 and out, and you are kicking to student section.... Like the gamble to go for it on 4th in 1... Hated the play call. How many 3rd and 3's did LSU get by gashing Alabama right up the gut... The last drive should not have mattered, if Miles realizes he has the better team and played like the favorite instead underdog, LSU leads 21-7 in the final 2 minutes....ask yourself this, When Miles has the better team, when does he use gadget plays?" I got caught up in Ala hype and thought he would need those type plays... He didn't. Miles biggest failure last night was not seeing that his LSU Tigers was the better team. Again, if Miles knew/thought he was the better team, these plays would have never been called

The "mistakes" of Miles are only mistakes because they didn't work. The only play I am critical of the coaching staff is in the final 2-3 minutes.

No

Low % play calls are wrong regardless of success. CLM used to gamble when the odds were in his favor (surprise, momentum, obvious strength vs weakness).

Last night he had a great gameplan. He had his team ready.
They played well enough to win against the #1 team in CFB.
But 3-4 mistakes in decision making kept us from winning.

Quit bitching about people not being happy with a loss. If your kid comes home with a B+ and you know they are capable of making an A, you should be disappointed and work with them to make an A on the next test. To be satisfied with a B+ because you don't want to "complain" means you are content to be less than you are capable.

There are certain people who are terrified of reality, yet come read a message board. They are setting themselves up for the pain they are going through. You can praise the good, bemoan the bad and still be a fan.

If all we did was come here to rah rah, there would be no need for a board called the Rant.

Yeah the loss hurts but damn it, important foundation laying steps were made last night.

The future is bright...very bright.

Moral victories...yada yada...

The future has been bright and the foundation has been solid for a while now. We just can't seem to get over the final hump that it takes to win championships - error free games, discipline, clock management, no unnecessary penalties. Little things seem to go wrong for this team every year since 2008, which has prevented us from winning more rings. I just wish we had won one more NC at least after 2007. God knows we had the talent and the personnel.
