They went down swinging and I love it.
Yeah, some of the calls were very questionable but damn it we left everything out there and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Proud of the team and proud of the coaching, if we play anywhere like that for the rest of the season, we end up in a BCS bowl.

If it works it's not stupid.
It comes with the territory.
We had an amazing gameplan and lost basically on the final play of the game.

For the first time in a LONG TIME, we saw offensive coaching adjustments.
It was AMAZING to see! I haven't been more excited about the future of LSU football in a number of years.

Moral victories. Frick yay!
Let's be like Ole Miss or La. Tech or some other loser school.
Miles is an idiot and he is the reason for the loss. Deal with it.
Oh, the finger in his ear with that dumbass look was classic. What a dumbass.

Exactly. The people that are blaming this lose on Miles' decisions are an idiot in my book. But what's new, our fan base is full of them.

I do not think stating the obvious is bashing. The fake field goal, 54 yd field goal, last serious were serious mistakes, that should not have happened.
I will be there Sat. and the next week and will renew my season tickets.

This...I wouldn't call it "going down swinging". They had it in the bag and farted it away on Bama's last drive with that terrible defensive scheme.

Da frick?
We made huge offensive strides last night. We took one of the best defenses in the nation to the whooping shed last night.
Yeah the loss hurts but damn it, important foundation laying steps were made last night.
The future is bright...very bright.

Yea 2 years ago in the swamp if the ball bounces an 1 further forward he would have been called the biggest fool in history, but the ball bounced and we got the win so it was genious. You idiots can't have it both ways

Went down swinging, can't blame him. I'd much rather see that than sitting on his hands like last years NC game.

We get it dude. You don't like miles. You hate winning 82 games. You hate competing with the big boys.
We do t score 100 every game so we suck. We get it.
You want chip Kelly
Or maybe Dana holgerson
Or <insert any other coach who has never proven to be able to beat the big guys>
No other coach in the country can compete on the level Les Miles and Nick Saban have.
Go hire someone else ad only then will you realize how great you had it.

I didn't mind the onside kick (though it was questionable timing), but the fake FG on 4th and 12 was beyond stupid. The design of that play might have been okay for 4th and 1, but not when you have 12 yards to go against the #1 defense in the nation. That would've been stupid even if it had worked. We would just have to admit we were unbelievably lucky if that had worked. It was mind boggling...just as every reporter and commentator has basically said. A call like that is crucial when you're playing the best.
The 54-yard attempt was head scratching as well. Those things really add up in the end and they sure did in this game. Great game though - I will say that.

I disagree but I know that's how a lot of people react to those type of plays. I try to decide my position on the plays before I know the result and I dont flip flop after the game.
Most people have been killing Les for the fake FG but I personally thought that was understandable at the time since we had failed to get a TD the first time we were down there (also considering our recent struggles scoring TD's against Bama) and everyone knew FG's wouldn't cut it.
I immediately decided the 54 yarder and going for it on 4th were really bad choices. You have to punt and put Bama in a position of either playing it safe and run out the clock with the lead at halftime or if they try to move it they are taking risks throwing it deep in their territory. Going for it on 4th I thought was not smart since there was a lot of time left and a FG makes them have to get a TD to beat us. Plus if you decide to go for it at least call a play with a chance to work. Just a horrible play call - horrible!!
The onside kick was iffy - just didn't think we needed it at the time but it would have been HUGE if it worked so I give him a pass.
