What was the deal in the NEZ? One signaled TD, then marked SC on the 2, and no explanation? I'm not complaining, but it was a bit weird.

Ok I just had to ask, it felt like a game ritter was officiating but this wasn't him I don't think......seems like most on here believe the majority of the calls went in sc's favor......

Idk scoreboard had sc with 13 pts, both teams sent pat lineups out then sc sends out its o and then les calls time. Weird sequence, or at least thats what it looked like but I am in the southeast corner.....

They didn't call a lot of penalties tonight. That is good, in my opinion.

LSU got away with some calls, too. I saw them hold, and I remember and LSU player hitting the QB after he passed the ball, and I remember an LSU player hitting a South Carolina player a little late out of bounds. None of it was called.

It might not have been the best officiating, but it was pretty even.

The hit after the ODB fair catch was a terrible no call.

Ok. So they saw that well enough to tell that it was hair not jersey/pads, but they somehow missed the hit after the fair catch, called a bullshite personal foul, and missed several pass interference calls? Neat.

Totally different circumstances.

Bad call, you have to let them play. The contact was minimal.

I agree, it was a bad call.

I'm just saying that intent sometimes matters. Should it in this case? I don't know the rule.

sec refs are bought and paid for.

They are horrible unless you are a bama or sc, or aubie fan. sc was holding bad most plays and it wasnt called once.

dont ever think that sec refs dont try to fix games.

they are corrupt and it isnt even close.

90 % of the sec refs are on the take and 10% are just just bad.

get the sec office out of bama or we will be complaining about it till end of time.

If he called fair catch which they never showed a replay of then why did he try to run after the catch?

Ritter was at Bama/MIZZOU (he always seems to be at Bama games)... Hubert Owens was the USCe/LSU ref

my personal fav... just b/c of his name... Penn Wagers did the aTm/LA Tech shootout

In all fairness the only horse collar missed was Hill tackling their guy on the int. ware was tackled by hair, which is legal

It sure looked like they were holding a lot from where we were sitting.

Yeah they definitely did a number of times, but I can live with that...they didn't get us with holding ever either from what I recall.

The fair catch was pretty cut and dry I thought. He waved his hand, got tackled, and no flag.

The personal foul is horse shite, pure and simple. There is no penalty for intent. Ref's lucky it was a two possession game at that point.

Horse collar was questionable I guess, but I can't believe not one ref reached for their flag on that.

ALl that said, freakin awesome game. Sat in the student section and it was ALIVE. Did notice a bunch of empty seats in parts of the stadium though. Hope the recruits enjoyed themselves

They were probably just pissed that they were brought to the gate (came up the hill) in a Prisoner Transport van.

But really they just missed a couple.

I think the weird no-hit PF was maybe kind of a make up thing. We had a couple of close ones a few playes earlier on the sideline and looks like the guy was just to anxious to call it this time cause those weren't.

My favorite non-call was the punt return where OBJ caught the ball after the guy had started tackling him. I couldn't believe my eyes.

On the out of bounds PI, I thought the LSU player grazed the WR. On the fair catch, it should have been a penalty. Hey, you won though. Screw the lousy refs.
