Any news about our favorite series? Sample chapters? Book release dates? New theories?

Update from the "Korea Portal"....yes, that's a real site

Several fans are now excited for the upcoming release of "The Winds of Winter" worldwide. Now, new reports are claiming that Neil Gaiman could possibly be writing the imminent novel on behalf of George RR Martin. Korea Portal previously shared that the main reason why George RR Martin is not giving any update on the forthcoming "The Winds of Winter" book is because he already stopped writing it. It has been reported that Neil Gaiman could probably be helping the New Mexican author finish the sixth installment of the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series.

Winter has been coming for 20 years. On August 1st, that bitch will be able to legally buy alcohol.

The Crackpot thread lives !!!
I think at this point most theories have either been proven or disproven, at least as far as the show goes. We're pretty much in the home stretch.
I would kind of like to see a hot pie appearance before the end.

I just watched it.
So, from what the video says, these are the current swords available in the show:
Longclaw (Jon)
Oathkeeper (Brienne)
Heartsbane (Sam took it in S6E10)
Widow's Wail (I guess Jaime has it at this point??)
So for show purposes, how will it shake out during the final battle? There's no way Sam will become a warrior by that point...Jon, Brienne, and Jaime wielding those swords is very plausible.

I still hope Dawn comes into play somehow. Running out of time for it in the show, though. Also, I dont know if it would work against white walkers.

Dawn will come into play. The directors of the show did say the sword that slew Arthur Dayne was Dawn.
