You are Miles.....under what terms do you allow TM7 back on team?

1. Vote of seniors and juniors (since seniors won't be around for next season)
2. WEEKLY drug screenings until he leaves LSU
3. Focus his community involvement on illegal substances and showing kids how he almost pissed it away and is making most of his last chance.

All depends on what terms he was dismissed for. No one really knows right?

WEEKLY drug screenings until he leaves LSU
Then just prepare for next year as if he's going to screw up and be pleasantly surprised if he doesnt

Him willing to sit out a year is pretty good to me. I'd allow it.

I don't. Time for both sides to move on. It sucks, but that's life.

You do not set a standard of do this, this, this and this.
Leaders do not complete tasks and their role is always evolving as needed. You don't let him know what he has to do, but if he can, you let hime know he has an opportunity.

This might have already happened.

Absolute zero tolerance. Community programs as well as programs to help him. High GPA.

1. Great academic standing at LSU.
2. Daily Drug test... results published daily, a la the Freddie Kitchen weigh in.
3. Proof that he did at least 10 hours of community service each week until back with the team, so that he doesn't fall back idle.
ETA:
4. No Twitter

You don't...pure and simple. As bad as a cover up IMO. Rules are rules...would you let a walk on who never saw the field back on the team who did the same? No...

I do nothing. ASSUMING this is the same reason he got suspended last year for Auburn, this hasnt been his first time. It's not like after he got suspended for Auburn, Miles told him "OK now you start over". No, the guy had his shots. You do not under any circumstance allow him back without sitting out an entire season.
And this is not like JJ, so dont even try.

Whatever rules that are already in place. No special rules should be made. I think it all comes down to if this was his 3rd or 4th busted test. #rd he should just have to sit out his year.

Almost needs a unanimous vote from the honor council.

Weekly would be very predictable and, ironically, easier to beat. Obviously there would be a zero tolerance (if he tests positive for something for which he has a prescription, the team and personal doc better 100% vouch for the need and the level of metabolites) for a positive screen. I would say random, determined by something like the last digit of the DOW at 10 am (or whatever the check time is) - (eff it - make the number 7)if that means 10 straight days of testing or 20 days of not testing, at least he will have to be prepared to test every day.

"Force" might be too strong here - it is still a free society, but let's say - "Strongly encourage" him to speak out to kids about the dangers of substance abuse. Having him chair (or co-chair) NA meetings for BR teens might help too.

i'm not for beating him up publically at all. in fact, it may be best if he were to fly incognito.
1. get a job to help pay college expenses. get loans to finish the rest.
2. periodic drug testing. he must prove to the coaches and himself he has the discipline to lay off the stuff until his goals are met.
3. work toward his degree.
this is tough since i'm not sure what he got tossed for but i'm going with drugs and not complying with coaches orders. i would love to see the man prove to himself he has the discipline to do it.

Letting him back would look bad for LM. He kicked him
Off the team. He stated he would not be coming back. Said nothing about a suspension. It would look like he is going back on his word. He needs to contact TM and tell him to clear up the speculation. IMO.

He shouldn't be allowed back unless it was his choice to leave instead of sit a year. I'm a huge TM7 fan, but once you've been kicked off the team, you've been kicked off the team. Allowing him to come back under any circumstances shows weakness and sets a bad example for future player mishaps.
