ETA: on a side note, that is a mighty fine looking trailer. Wouldn't mind having one of those as a tourney prize

Check out On The Water Innovations. This guy makes some pretty snazzy rigs which would make a nice prize I agree ;)

My honest review is that she rode well on the trailer on the way home! Haven't put it in the water yet.

Thanks. It's made by Tennessee Trailers (hints the logo on the tongue). I had to drive to Soddy Daisy, TN to pick it up but I do love that trailer. I've had it roughly 2.5 years now. It's been to Pensacola, Lake Guntersville, and headed to Lake Fork next week. Where ever I want to go and however fast I want to get there, she just tags right along without the worry I used to have hauling the Harbor Freight trailer.

I feel like I have seen that trailer at some tournaments. It looks nice. I'm going to have to get in that Championship!

This thread really sent me down a rabbit hole yesterday evening.

Now I'm looking at seperating a chunk of cash from the bank account. Thanks all!

I'm going to add a rack (crossbar system) to my SUV to transport. What's the general weight limit for how much I'm going to want to pick up and sling up there at the end of the day assuming I buy a pedal kayak and take out the peddle drive before placing on top of rack?

I occasionally throw my Hobie Compass, which is probably one of the lightest pedal drive kayaks out, on top of a campershell with a roof rack on my leveled F250 on 35s, so that was pretty high up and it wasn't bad. I quickly learned its all about positioning yourself properly.

My native slayer propel (55lb hull) rides on my thule racks on an ARE topper for my tacoma 50% of the time. I only drive 10 minutes to work so I leave up there all week sometimes. Just in case I want to hit the lake on the way home

Got up and was on the water in the fog at 5:30 am throwing a big black spinnerbait with a big colorado blade. Caught 2 dinks before I could see 10 feet in front of me. Got hung up a few times because I couldnt see the bank. Didnt get any bites near the bank on soft plastics. Caught 6 between 1 and 3 lbs on a square bill crank as the fog lifted. awesome small lake. I will be back again

You can land some hogs at night on a black spinnerbait. At least that's what I have heard.

It would be. I just don't know when the heck I'll ever get to go fishing. I do plan on making a trip to Lacassine in March. But, I took vacation days for that. Seems like I'm either working, or my kids have something going on every weekend.
