re: Fence Pricing Per Foot

Replaced mine from IDA for $26/ft shadow boxed. Cheapest I found by a wide margin but the wait was painful. SE LA....

I've got a few. They out punch their price point IMO. I've got a Mitch, Dream, Toadface, and Deputy....
These are all pretty comparable to be honest. Unless you are doing any serious off-roading, either of these will get you what you are looking for. Pay attention to your choice of tire as this will have a big impact that your shocks won't be able to overcome. ...
How do you feel the compass stability compares to the outback? I got on both at the kayak place in Gulfport and stood in them. They didn’t feel much different but of course that was in a pool. I’m stuck between the two.
Agree. I had the same dilemma, and I ended up with the outback...
Mak is a great company that makes some great grills. I have dealt with them several times over the years and when you call them with a question you actually talk to a human being and most times with one of the owners. They will go out of their way to help you with any issue you are having. I ...
I really looked hard at the RecTec but wanted to stay American so looked at Mak, Yoder, and P&S. I pulled the trigger on the P&S since its made in Houston and they delivered it to BR.
Good choice :) I would have went this route, but I ended up finding a barely used Mak on Facebook ...

I've had good success with the B&B from Academy. The championship blend is a pretty good bang for the buck at $14.99 for a 40lb bag. They do not seem to produce a large amount of ash. Lots of folks swear by Lumberjack, but they are not available locally from what I can tell. I believe Dick's has the...
Sold. I just ordered the Rectec RT-700. Emailed them a couple of times. Extremely fast response. Read a bunch of reviews and watched some youtube videos. Y'alls recommendation sealed the deal. Can't wait to do some ribs and a brisket!
Congratulations! Take a look at the front shelf...

Stick with Rec-Tec. If you want to spent something more premium than that you can check out Pitts & Spitts or Mak. Yoder isn't in the same conversation....
30lb Braid without a leader is what I use. I enjoy a medium rod personally with a fast action. I've found myself going lighter through the years. Hell, this past year I likely caught more reds on my medium-lite setup than any others I had in the boat....
Another vote for the Daiwa BG in the size 2500. I wouldn't mess with anything else in that budget....
I would order them yourself and install ATLEAST the rear ones by yourself. You should be able to bring the front struts to a local garage if you aren't willing to do those. Call around....

re: Inshore bait cast reels:

Posted by Hebed118 on 7/7/20 at 1:10 pm
Haven't use any of those mentioned. The "inshore" on baitcast reels is more marketing IMO. You'll be OK with reels not labeled as such. Hell, I've been throwing curados for the past 15 or so years and spray them down and typical maintenance and been just fine. Sorry I can't help, just offering...
ETA: on a side note, that is a mighty fine looking trailer. Wouldn't mind having one of those as a tourney prize
Check out On The Water Innovations. This guy makes some pretty snazzy rigs which would make a nice prize I agree ;)...

To those not experiencing the smoke they would like using a pellet smoker, have you tried the lumberjack pellets? I find these are the best at producing smoke compared to some of the others. On the note of the Weber, It seems as though they have quite a few bugs to work out from those who have st...

Thanks guys!! I'm pretty torn. I like what I'm seeing about the Rec Tec 700, plus the 20% off add-ons they have going on is pretty sweet. Yoder seems like a more solid unit. The integration of fireboard is sweet as well. Any of you guys experience any rust issues? The P&S seems like a very ...

I too have been looking at them quite a bit. Spitts and Pitts, Yoder, and Rec Tec mostly. Where are you guys ordering these? I assume nowhere locally has anything like it. ...
Like others have said don't waste your money. Get a Victorinox. ...

I do like what Native did with this. I was really hoping for an upgrade kit from Hobie for the fins. From their response it sounds like Hobie changed a few things and they cannot be adapted to the current 180. Heres to hoping they have one available in the coming year....
