I'm not talking about this game. They rarely ever do. The 2010 WC qualifying was miserable, Olympic qualifying was dreadful and it looks like this one will be too.

Mexico had a similar result against an equally worse Guyana.

Do you think the Mexicanos are having this discussion right now?

The Shin Guardian says blame the gameplan, not the players. Review should be up soon.

This team played with 0 soccer IQ today.

Landon, you fricking moron, you are playing against a team with a fat goalie with poor hands. In addition, you're on a wet field and the ball is slippery. Stop trying to make short passes 5 yards away from the goal, AND TAKE A frickING SHOT.

Pathetic performance from the national team. Way too much sideways passing tonight.

And the Antigua & Barbuda team lulled the defense to sleep in the final 20 minutes. Sheep, I hope you can finally admit that Onyewu is done. He makes every striker look like a Brazilian now.

I hope Fabien is healthy for the Guatemala game. I want this team to skull drag those dirty frickers in front of their pathetic fans in their crime-infested shite hole of a city.

Yes it does. The USMNT is actually getting to be enjoyable to watch at times. Klinsmann's system is even starting to gain traction and Bradley is approaching elite status.

This was a terrible outing for the US no doubt, and I was disappointed in the overall performance. However, being more apt to pull for fricking Liverpool instead of your own national side is lame. If you want to talk about attractive soccer when you have Andy Carroll, come on.

I'm watching it now, and not having read this whole thread, I'm at half and I really like our passing, touch and control. They're really weighting their passes, and getting onto the ball, especially Torres up the left side.

They completed lots of short passes, but it wasn't the right strategy today, especially when you watch the final 10 minutes when we start taking half-assed shots and their keeper almost lets half of them in.

Also, we played really poorly in the final 25 minutes or so.

The best part of this game is that we got Boyd tied to the US national team in case he ever breaks out (although I don't see it happening). Hopefully Fabien Johnson "becomes" an American on Tuesday night. And we can get Danny Williams in the next international cycle, when he is healthy.

I'm honestly just tired of watching them play. They don't play attractive soccer and never really look like they care. And I don't have the same passion for the USMNT like I do for LSU, the Saints or Liverpool that would cause me to watch every game no matter how terrible they are.

Fair weather fan? If you say.

Isn't Johnson already locked to us because he already made a switch, so he can't do so again? Maybe I'm wrong. The FIFA eligibility rules confuse me.

Yep, he used his one time switch to play for the U.S. so there is no going back for him.

Yeah, I thought so. Glad we took care of Boyd last night.
