Conker's Bad Fur Day (N64)

How great was this game? First (and only?) game I ever played with loads of cussing, nudity, blood and gore, hilarious movie parodies...everything you could ever want. Also not bad gameplay either. I remember the Matrix-esque lobby level being awesome. Pretty fun multiplayer too.
Anyway I just saw they had a sequel for original Xbox. Wish they would give it another go. Apparently they didn't sell well though...poor advertising. I never knew about the original until I randomly found it at the old gametrader in Esplanade. Guess such an adult themed game doesn't do well in a predominantly child driven market.

Fun game. The MP was actually pretty legit as well. We spent many hours on the Normandy level.
And I don't think that was a sequel. Just a HD upgrade from the original.
ETA: What's funny is that Conker was a character on Diddy Kong Racing, and they had set out to make a normal platformer with him. But I think at some point, they decided it was too generic so they went the raunchy route.

Still have mine. Problem is the controllers. Those analog sticks weren't high quality, so most of mine aren't too responsive.
Might have to break that sucker out soon.

this is the Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie were the height of Rare. (anyone says diddy kong racing gets slapped)

Oh my shite do I miss this game. We used to play this for hours on that beach head map. Running around slicing and giving with that sword was so much fun

Get an emulator and use a 360 or PS3 controller.

Is there an N64 emulator that will run Conker's with a good framerate and without crashing, though? I only know up to the 16-bit era well.

Has there been a bigger loss for gaming than Microsoft buying Rare from Nintendo? Seriously, Microsoft hasn't done jackshit with Rare and really just destroyed them and their credibility. They did it just to frick over Nintendo and make them less of a threat.
