Despite your paranoia about the media and fans, the LSU program is all right.

I won't defend the gameplan...In hindsight, it sucked...

But I guarantee you there wasn't a single LSU fan (probably including Miles) that wasn't saying to themselves in the third quarter...."If we just put one score on the board, this whole game is about to change in our favor."

He admitted it, moron. What the hell else do you want the guy to do?

Ok, I will say my piece here.

The one BIG problem I have with Miles right now is how he doesn't seem to take command. He kept saying that he wanted to get Shep in the game or he wanted this or that to happen but it didn't work out. HE IS THE frickING HEAD COACH and can make any changes he wants, but always seems to blame someone or something else.

In the NCG, he could clearly see that things weren't working, so why in the hell did he not just scrap the stupid game plan and try to do the back-up plan (as if there was one). He ultimately has the final say, so when is he going to take responsibility like he says he does? It was very clear to all watching JJ over the years that he cannot beat anyone with his arm and the SEC-CG showed that JJ was lost and could not run the offense.

What I want from him is to take responsibility and stop making the dumb-arse comments that point to him not having any control or taking charge. His handling of Lee has really lessened my respect for him since I can find no logical reason for him to not get Lee ANY playing time for the last few games of the season.

Thank you and good day sir.

Eating now. Did anyone ask why he punted with 4 minutes left and how that could be perceived as quitting on the team?

Nah, but it definitely is the lasting impression of the season, since it was a month from the previously played game. If LSU had even been competitive people wouldn't react so badly.

i mean, look at the saints .. sure, everyone is disappointed .. especially now that the NFCCG would have been in the Dome .. but you just get the feeling it is a totally different form of disappointment/anger than this ..

Alright, first off I'm not a moron, but people who call people names often have little to argue with. That's a fact.

Secondly, no he didn't. He never came out directly and said anything. When asked, he skated as he always does. That's what went on. When we get the transcript I will make sure to look you up and discuss it in detail.

OKAY, you're responding to me and posting another person's quote and I'm a retard?

Remember what I said about people who resort to name calling again?

1. In fairness, Jefferson's mobility put us in a position to win, so I understand sticking with him. Plus his point is valid - just one score and the game - even at the beginning of the fourth - is totally different. I don't agree with Lee not playing, but I don't think his view is irrational because I don't like it. 2. Re: Saban adjusting. In fairness, NO ONE saw McCarron having the game he did before that night. He adjusted because he trusted his QB more than Miles did his. I don't think Miles should be blamed for not trusting his QBs' ability.

Freaking What do these people want here? Some vindication for every bad event in their lives? This level of emotion is about more than 1/9/12.

Yeah, it's not the loss. It's the total look of incompetence, being beaten so badly. Anger will pass in time

The reactions of everyone on this board is the EXACT reason why coaches don't beat down the door to coach LSU.

Everyone knows LSU is in a talent rich state, with no competition, in the greatest conference in the world, yet our last 4 hires have come from Southern Miss, Vanderbilt, and 2 .500 career coaches from BCS conferences.

Since 2005, LSU has the highest winning percentage of ANY BCS school in the country, 2 conference championships and a national championship. I wish Saban was still here, only because he would explicitly tell all of you delusional jack asses to go frick yourself instead of beating around the bush like Les.

He is far from perfect, but he is performing better than anyone we have ever had.

Without a doubt. The Saints game was lack of execution on defense in the end. There was more than one scheme and adjustments were made during the game - good enough to come back from being 17 points down to winning the game with a minute left.
