Have you ever felt guilty killing an innocent animal?

This. Or is the OP the type person to eat a fat steak or fat burger then get pissed at hunters for killing animals

If they weren't so tasty I wouldn't bother. Varmits aren't innocent they are pests.

I shoot turtles that are neither pests nor tasty. Just fun. Also black birds and chimney sweeps. etc. etc.

Can't say I have this problem. I love cooking a duck gumbo, or putting fresh blackstrap on the grill. No better thing in the world.

And then there are pigs. Tasty, pesky, and fun to shoot.

Actually yes. Shooting a buck that was much too small. Gave me a sick feeling in my stomach.

Id rather blast a doe anyday then a small buck

turtle sauce piquante is one of the best meals I've ever had to date

Eta: and to answer the op... Only when I was young and made the mistake of killing a button buck thinking it was a doe... Never did that again

Yeah I have. Hate having to put down dogs that have been hurt to no repair.

I feel bad making a bad shot on an animal. I've had to slit two throats and I get no enjoyment out of that.

Makes good shots and get quick painless kills.
