Nope, but on that page it says on day one they served more than 1,000 people. Not sure what they serve, but 1,000 people? Unless they're doing boiled seafood, how good can it be? I haven't been impressed by any of the Besh restaurants not named La Provence and August.

Got to try this place during the week of the BCS during a Louisiana Seafood promotion thing.
Everything I tried was damn good...all pass-around apps.
--some kind crab croquette thing with cheese (melted in your mouth, shaped like a boudin ball)
--suckling pig empanada (exactly what you think, like a really good pulled pork meat pie)
--bacon wrapped duck with jalapeno (nice appetizer type thing)
--oysters almondine (fried oysters with an almond accent)
--oyster soup (creamy, not very flavorful though)
I'll be going back after they work out the kinks.
They also serve only draft and can beer, with and some great stuff in cans (Bombshell Blond, Brooklyn Lager, which I hadn't seen canned before).
Nice setup, would be a great alternative to going to Walk-Ons before a Hornets game or something.

If you're not impressed by Domenica you havent eaten there enough.

Domenica is a very good restaurant. Your taste is either pedestrian and you feign sophistication or you are simply on the board to be an a-hole for your own grins.

Three times is plenty. Throw it in a former Sizzler's on Williams Blvd and people would laugh at the prices they charge for the quality of food. Everything there is just so very bready.
Besh has two good restaurants, IMO, August and La Provence. All else is Mercedes C class.

Really. You can't be this clueless. You have to be goofing around here.

Oh, and back to Borgne. I've walked by at night and it seems very, very bright in there. Too bright. Someone said they're working on that. Hope so.

Ate there for lunch on Friday. I had the pork meat pies, delicious. Dad had the oysters, okay not great. Had the BBQ shrimp po boy, very good. Dad got the pork belly and fried oyster sandwich, it was awesome.
It's a very cool place on the inside, is bright, but I like the way it's set up.

I am going to have a hard time going back to Domenica. Worst pizza I have ever had other than CiCis and everything else I tried from others (because I couldn't eat mine) was meh.

Weird. I've eaten there 10-15 times or so. Never had a bad meal. I've eaten the pizza twice and thought it was great.

Mine was fantastic.

I checked it out last Monday before the BCS game. We just went in and got some drinks. The set up kinda reminded me of a cafeteria, but the bartenders were pretty quick considering how busy it was in there. They did have a cool looking wall column made of oyster shells. Can't wait to try the food!

I think it's the best pizza in the city.

I ate the pizza once at Domenica. And I'd have to agree with you...it was mediocre at best. Maybe it was just an off day.

Bump.
May be going there tomorrow. I couldn't find a menu online. Any info?
