to Bama. Both teams were pretty close this year.
LSU won one and Bama won the one that counted.

They both won the one that counted. If Bama had won the first game, LSU would not be SEC Champions. But to your bottom line, don't worry - LSU didn't play perfect. But if LSU had played perfect and still lost, it would have hurt, but it would not have been a horror show.

Losing is not the bad thing. Not being prepared and not making changes is.

Neaux.

If LSU plays "perfect" they beat Bama by two scores.

I'm not saying Bama was a good team. They obviously were. But LSU hardly played their worst REGULAR SEASON game in their backyard and won by 3.

Do you know what lose means? It means you have fewer points than the other team. There is NO WAY you could play perfect but not accomplish that.

If we would've played perfect and lost, I could deal with that. I wouldn't like it but I could deal with it.

We hardly played perfect and we certainly didn't look like a team that was 13-0. That's what bothers me.

They could have. They could have won also. Who knows?

Bama won the last one, that's all.

it's one thing to play perfect and lose...with both teams being so close, it'd be a toss up at that point.

but it's another thing to be so damn lifeless and ill-prepared. combine that with gutless playcalling, and you get what you got.

So if JJ would have played PERFECTLY, then Bama still would have won? I don't think so.

Normally I would agree, but JJ stunk up that stadium so freaking badly he dragged the whole team down. If JJ was playing better, you have to think the play calling would have improved. The play calling got worse as JJ kept playing worse...it was a snowball effect.

Yep, and that would have been a lot easier to stomach and Miles wouldn't be taking crazy heat from people who don't normally give him heat.

OP is just stupid. Of course they could have lost with perfect play. A loss like that is tolerable to a team like bama.

On the offensive side of the ball, we didn't even play, much less play perfectly. Mortifying.

It's not my fault. There's nothing I could have
Done.

That's a bad attitude.

Had LSU played perfect and lost - fine.

But LSU's performance was absolutley inexcusable for a fricking national championship game. It was embarrasing.

If we play a perfect second half we could win that game going away.

Losing is not what makes fans upset, it is how we lost. If you think LSU played Alabama the same way they did on Nov 5, then you need glasses.
