He doesn't owe anyone anything!! he does't owe us an explanation, he doesn't owe Jlee anything either. This is big boy football the coach desides who plays this is not Pee wee ball were everyone plays. He owes us nothing. All he need to do is keep winning. And given his record i think he deserves alot more respect than some give him. Yes its ok to question and be critical but the amount of disrepect some so called fans give him is unreal.

agreed he doesn't owe us anything. But he was beyond out coached. Didn't look like they even practiced from the lay-off.

He owes us a football team that at least has a plan to deal with unexpected adversity in a critical ballgame. The plan might not work, but a multimillion dollar coach is required to at least have one.

Miles got out coached in this game and I was very shocked at the lack of offensive strategy. Plan A, B, And C options etc etc... That being said JJ's performance was so poor that no plan in the world would have worked. The only thing I feel Miles should have done is use every option we had until the clock said zero. If he would have done this it would have eliminated the what if's and why nots. Since he didn"t do this it has created a shite storm and rightly so in imho.

Truth is, Bama got beat in November and that extra motivation and planning paid off.

Great article on cfn.scout.com about how this game was earily similar the 1996 Florida-Florida state rematch and how the system really srewed FSU that year, LSU this year, and college football in general.

That, said, even though LSU got screwed by the system, they laid an egg and Bama deserves to be champs.

Alot of people on this board owe this team an apology. They were the ones that lost the game. We didn't lose shite, except maybe some bragging rights.

Yes, he created this storm, not us. We just wanted to see a competitive game, where LSU put forth their best effort.

As head coach his job is to see things coming, as Nick Saban did, and make adjustments and contingency plans.

That game was over before it started due to the superior preparation and game plan, plus the Tide were mentally tougher, all things Coach Miles does have within his control as head coach.

He should apologize, but he won't because that would be admitting that he didn't do the job he's being paid for.

Everyone has a bad day, but since the BCS era began, nobody has had a worse day than LSU did on Monday. The Team, fans, and university deserved better, on this big a stage.

Bama's a great team, but things like letting #17 Smelley continue to get open without getting chucked or bumped at the line of scrimmage is coaching.
