bc if it isn't LSU i'm pulling for the rest of the country... it's like when the NFC won 14 super bowls in a row. i started rooting for the AFC team. since then the AFC has won 9 of 14

Its been established that in almost any circumstance imaginable voters will bend over backwards to find a way to get an SEC team(or 2) in the MNC.

Its the truth. One year its about who has more quality wins, the next year its who has the best loss, the next its about the eye test it changes every year to cater to what ever gets an SEC team in to the MNC

This SEC supremacy shite did not start until 2006 (Florida over OSU). The SEC was not held in the same regard until that game.

SEC team was undefeated the last 3 years. Kinda makes it easy for them to get into the game.

I have no beef with 2010 and 2009 but every other year has been a joke

How was 2011 a joke? LSU was the only undefeated team and Bama won the title game. Seems like they got it right.

Because a team that didn't win it's conference championship should NEVER be called national champions.

as long as usc wins espn will try its hardest to get them in the ncg.

so of course i think usc has the best chance.

...Maybe if the other conferences would beat them in the championship game the voters would feel differently. ...Just a thought.

Alabama didn't belong in the title game based on the logic used in 2006. This is why I say the voters bend over backwards and change their logic every year to find a way to get an SEC team in
