Pretty laughable. It's all about the audience though. UGA fans want a reason to believe, the author attempts to give it to them.

And not only was Arkansas overranked for most of the season, LSU's own athletics website egregiously lists them as having been "#3" when they came to Baton Rouge -- when the very same page lists their season-opening opponent, Oregon, as having been "#3" as well. Look, I've been covering college football for a long time, and it's extremely rare for two teams to end up exactly tied in the AP or coaches' poll balloting. Either we had a little bit of lightning strike the Ducks and Razorbacks this season, or somebody at LSU is playing fast and loose with the rankings; I'll leave you to interpret which one I think happened, but you should know I wasn't born yesterday.
wow, not born yesterday, but maybe the day before.

AS if Alabama being fourth in the SEC West in 2010 has some bearing on the Nov 5, 2011 game.

The best comment after the article: "Is this a joke? It has to be a joke."

Denial. Same shite that has been spewed all year by the other team a week before they get arse r*ped.

Don't worry, it will only get worse after we beat them by 3+ TD's. We already know we can beat a team on their own field in prime time and still have them think they are better than us.

What's the deal with the 2nd string QB thing. If I recall they said the same thing about the little pigs and we B-slapped their 1st QB.

could it be as simple as: the ranking at the time they played?

Spare me your quibbling over Brantley, Mackey and Bray supposedly having so-so seasons; which are you going to believe, their stats (and your lying eyes) or their star ratings from Scout and Rivals?

i hate commenting on this type of thing, giving life to something so ridiculous, but

had to play the No. 1 team in the country at various points this season. LSU can't say the same.
