Its almost like people on here don't realize that LSU is even more likely to play for a NC now.

I see what you're saying but I still don't necessarily agree.

I think most people assume it's a given we make it, they are more concerned with winning. But nothing is given in college football.

I know it's nearly impossible to know how humans will vote, but what's your take on 1 loss Bama/Oregon/OU if OU beats OSU?

My problem is that the media controls a lot. The AP may not factor in, but I sure as hell remember beating WVU and having a night of ESPN love send us over the top the next day. It's scary how much influence ESPN has.

And they've been pubbing the shite out of two other teams for the last two weeks. And I could just see us getting completely fricked, regardless of how high we are in the computers.

I believe OU would get in. Highest quality win before bowl voting is important.

I do understand that but my main thing and I don't really care how some see this, I do not want the team to play Bama again.

I know it's really difficult for 2 teams from the SEC to play in the BCS CG, (one from the west, one from the east) but 2 from the same division?

Seriously? You're better with this stuff than I am. How probable are the chances of that happening? I'm really asking.

Considering LSU does what it's been doing all season and wins the remaining games.

Yes. It gives 'us' a softer landing if we slip up! We would surely be one of the 2 best 1 loss teams!

its awesome, no way we drop with a loss. now a team we beat would teplace us at #1 if at all. so we are in the drivers seat now. im expecting osu to drop behind all the 1 loss teams.

I honestly dont think we will lose, but tonight shows what college football is all about.

I always like the idea of two u defeateds playing for the crown.

Other than that, though, it's okay, I guess.

Which is why last week and this week combined will be the combination punch to knock Oregon in over Bama.

Yep, posted this during the game, but I certainly don't have your expertise, but that is what I thought based on your earlier comments.

If bama & LSU win out, its gonna be a rematch, no sense denying it. Bring on bama 2, we got this.
