Thank you Penn State. Its been a long time coming, but you finally got this one right. Paterno has been selfish up to and past the point of negligence through all of this, and worried about himself more than the school to the end. If he had had less of an ego, and more of a sense of the damage he has caused he would have stepped down Monday.

perhaps this is how/why he was able to stay @ PSU so long. Everyone had dirt on the other from head coach to AD & school administrators. that is until this shite finally broke.

I read that grand jury report earlier today. That entire system protected this guy Sandusky, despite the fact that many people knew, including Paterno. This isn't about football, except that football institutions can provide tremendous cover. Paterno is still a great coach but everything about that era at Penn State was tainted by this "thing" going on that they all turned their heads and covered up.
