exactly what i thought.. can't believe that "espn projected lsu #2 BS thread" got a sticky.. that was atrocious. 2 weeks in a row people failed on that projection shite.

Their ranking will eventually drop after Conf Champ game weekend. Human polls will not let them in. 1 loss Big 12 or B1G gets in over them when it's all said and done.

Not so fast my friend. James has them #10 on his ballot, and Smith said he wouldn't drop the loser of the LSU/Bama game below BSU. Not to mention if any of the major conference teams other than OSU remained undefeated, they would jump BSU. This includes Clemson, Standford and Kansas St.

im not saying this is going to happen or that it is even probable. im just asking if anyone thinks that its a remote possibility. i dont think it will happen but i remember in 2007 we jumped teams in conference championship weekend cause they didnt play (i forgot which teams but i believe they were ranked 3 4 and 5)

This week is their peak in the BCS...even if they win out. The computers are going to begin to reflect their schedule starting next week and they will fall like a rock.

Did anyone notice that Oklahoma State was pretty much #1 in all of the computer polls? Obviously, they don't carry that much weight
