I don't know, I wasn't there, but I'm trying to put the pieces together.

I'm 20. My son would be a baby or a young child..So if a grown arse football player beat him up...i'd tell him to say it was Bama players.

My opinion on what should happen to them wouldn't change, but the intensity of those feelings would.

this is the only correct answer.

If my son was dumb enough to get in a fight in a bar, he would deserve what he got.

You'd jump into the middle of the fracas and start kicking your own kid in the head, just to save the players the trouble of doing it.

If my son was drunk, attempting to drive, and dropping racial slurs at LSU players, I would hope they beat the shite out of him.

Well, I supposed I would have different feelings if it were my son, but that is always true of those who are victimized by any (alleged) crime. In our society, we have made the choice not to let the victims or their families be the judge or jury in their own cases. So, I suppose that my feelings would change somewhat but I don't know how useful the information is.

by the way, I don't yet have an opinion on what the appropriate level of discipline should be given current information, and I think Miles is doing the right thing by taking his time, at least for now. I sincerely hope as a fan that Miles starts giving Lee significant reps with the 1's in the event he determines that JJ needs to be suspended.

The whole story is he said she said, so everyone has the right to believe what parts of the story they want to. Growing up in Southern Louisiana, I don't think that happening is farfetched at all.

I would've warned my son that things like this, and worse, happen at bars at 2:00 AM. They are not very safe places. I'd feel bad for him, but it's a lesson learned. I expect me son to get in a fight one day. Hopefully he wins, and no one is badly hurt just like in this incident. If not life goes on. This is a stupid arse pussy thing that mothers ask

Shouldn't matter who was involved, LSU players have to be responsible for their own behavior. Period. If it isn't treated that way the program will suffer a lot more than just one season.

If it were my son, he graduated in 2002, he would have to handle his business. He got in a few scrapes himself, I learned the hard way to let him be a man and take care of whatever mess he got himself in. It paid off, he is a fine man & father now.

No. I think there should be suspensions and expulsions whether or not it was my son.
