My opinion on what should happen to them wouldn't change, but the intensity of those feelings would.

I would have whipped my son's arse worse than Jordan Jefferson did for getting behind the wheel at 1:45 a.m. after spending all night at the bar.

I would have taught my son not to get involved or pick a fight with a group of LSU football players unless self defense called for it.

How would you feel if your son picked this fight and creates this mess?

I think this really is hte case witha certain element of the fan base. I think the vast majority of people want justice done even if it means hurting our chances on the field> I think if it was a son or close friend of yours (generally speaking) that got hurt in the incident not so many people would be hoping for the lightest punishment possible

Had my son picked a fight? Was he drunk? Was he minding his own business and got jumped?

It would range from, you got what you deserved... to ... go get my gun.

The marine thing is irrelevant in my book. There are many great service men out there and many complete jerks and criminals as well. Just because you wear the uniform doesn't make you a hero any more than wearing a football jersey does

what does it matter they were football players.

Were they wearing their jerseys (as was supposed about his uniform)?
