Was the 3D version worth it?

Jabber. Take your damn kid to see this movie. Little blood and violence didn't turn me into a bad person!

It's pretty clean.

At least one profanity, a muttered "damn"

There are some pretty good action sequences, but lots of talking as well with nothing in it. Not sure how a 3 year old would like that.

*mild spoiler*
through 80% of the movie, Thor is human. So while he is flashy at the start and finish, most of the middle is just a budding romance with Portman.

Eh, it was okay. I am fairly neutral towards 3D....find it does little for me.

Like I said earlier, only reason why I did was because it was the only way to watch it in IMAX, which *is* worth it.

For some of the bigger booms, the sound system has enough power you almost feel, rather than hear, the concussions.

That is why I love IMAX. The screen is great but the audio is a whole different level.

What u saw was a cube that provides unlimited power which will be acquired by Loki and Loki will be the bad guy in avengers. Or one of the bad guys.

I thought Thor was pretty good.

Movie is at least as good as Iron Man....arguably better.

Nick Fury shows Selvig a cube of immense power. Selvig, possessed by Loki, says "That's very interesting."

I think Loki is going to be the bad guy in The Avengers

Loki is def going to be the bad guy in Avengers. In the comics he is the one who brings them together in the first place.

also enjoyed the cameo by renner as hawkeye. can't wait to see what they do with him in Avengers.

here's an article where tom hiddleston talks about loki coming back:

I liked it a lot...not as much as Iron Man, but I definitely enjoyed it.

After the tag at the end, I heard this tongue-in-cheek comment when we were walking out: "Dude, I can't believe they found part of the all-spark!"
