My first thought was the soundtrack. I'm not sure they can beat the original one.

Good call.

I actually don't have a problem with this. The Crow was an awesome movie, but it had a pretty "gritty" feel to it. I know that was likely the point, but it always seemed just so...can't think of the right word...kinda "low-budget" to me I guess. I think with the right person at the helm, this could have potential. The story is great. I think a similar story with an updated look (not CGI) could work. As for Bradley Cooper, I kinda dig him as an actor thus far, and am not really tired of him yet. As long as he could pull off the fighting, I think it could work.

I'd definitely try to see this in theaters.

The new movie will probably star Shia LaBeouf as Eric Draven, with the soundtrack featuring Willow Smith and Nickelback.

I'm sorry I just feel like Bradley Cooper is probably a douche in real life. His movies and his acting ability are decent though, but still a douchey persona. I guess whatever gets him a paycheck, right?

I didn't see what the big deal was with the first Crow. Honestly, more remakes/reboots? People talk about contraction in the NBA or MLB. I think Hollywood needs some serious contraction. there are obviously too many people making movies and not enough people writing them.

BTW, not that I have anything against him, but is cooper like the only "macho" actor out there now? Magnum PI, the Crow, is there any male lead that he isn't associated with?

I'm not a big Bradley Cooper fan either.
He's pretty much the next Matthew Mchonoughey. Make a few action films/comedies, prove your not that great of an actor, and be stuck with bad rom coms the rest of your life.

Cult Classic.

Also the movie that introduced me to industrial rock, STP, RATM, and plenty of other stuff I had never been exposed to before.

Ouch.
Don't need a remake. Shouldn't star Bradley Cooper. Hell, put Channing Tatum in the lead role. That'll just solidify me not seeing it. Frickin come on, Hollywood!

Even if I could get behind this, this:

Relativity is flying fast with Crow, with Fresnadillo only officially boarding the project a week ago.

doesn't sound worth a damn.

So on devil's night will they just be setting a bunch of empty buildings on fire since no one lives in Detroit anymore?

Get Tony Jaa to be in the remake and just subtitle it in English.
