I'm a bourbon drinker, so I know dick about vodka other than I don't like it and look down on those that drink it.

I need a few recommendations for a gift. Under a 100 bucks a bottle preferably, something a little more unique than say Dripping Springs/Tito's/Stoli/Goose.

Any vodka that is distilled five times is as good as any other. You don't need to spend close to 100.00 bucks. Vodka is actually a poor man's drink.

Van Gogh

But honestly I just buy the Winn Dixie brand that is $10 a handle. Its triple distilled and as good as anything else.

Vodka is supposed to have no flavor. $100 for a tasteless spirit is stupid.

Offshore...go to Specs and get a bottle of the Dan Akroyd vodka...no idea how it tastes, probably pretty good, but the bottle is awesome looking.

I like my bloody mary's in the morning but that's probably my only use for vodka and it really doesn't matter what kind it is for that.

The best vodka are the ones who's taste disappear the most when you mix em with something.

Vodka has no taste? It's all the same? Say that to a room full of Russian Commies and they will gut you p*ssies like a fish.

A thousand apologies, but I feel better already. Carry on.

A fifth is usually pretty inexpensive

I would think a half gallon of this would come in under 60

I'm a big vodka drinker and personally I'd rather have a bottle of Kettle One over anything else.

Hanger One or Chopin

My dad was a huge vodka drinker and these two were head and shoulders above the rest in his opinion.

I got a couple of bottles of Dripping Springs at Specs. Everyone I gave one to really enjoys it

there was another Hill Country Vodka that I almost picked up, but it only came as a handle. I felt a little weird giving someone a handle of vodka as a christmas gift, but i hear it's good too. It's right by the Dripping Springs bottle at Specs (main one)
