I love how everyone states how great Michigan is; you know what, frick michigan. It is nothing more than a damn union state that tried to frick the auto industry. If it is such a great state then why is the unemployment above 12%, by the way LA unemployment rate 8.8%.

well that's certainly what you're implying. some people like baton rouge, some don't. your post was completely irrelevant though.

This has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

I can, however, conclude from it that you are a dumbass for thinking it is relevant.

If you understood the english language, grammar and punctuation, maybe we'd understand your retarded post. Exit. And please don't claim Louisiana as your home if you are indeed from here.

What we offer isn't the city, buddy. What we bring is awesome facilities and a LOT of financial backing. We have alot of money in out football program, and as a coach that allows you to recruit more and it makes your job easier. You are right my friend about BR we are behind as a city but LSU as a football program has the "MEANS" so you shouldn't be so down.

This could be said about a lot of programs.

Having lived in LA (the city), Houston, Orlando, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and BR and having spent a lot of time in Portland, Or, Atlanta, Ga - I can say that Baton Rouge is actually a unique place to live - in a good way. With the money that Miles has, he can live in an awesome home and send his kids to great schools. Rating universities is overrated - LSU students and graduates who apply themselves can be just as successful as those from other major football schools. But when it comes to football, LSU has everything to offer - actually more than 95% of the other schools.

The people in Louisiana are great - and entertaining. With the money that Les has, he can visit whatever BR is missing just about anytime he wants.
I don't have the money Miles has, and I choose to live in BR.

I have lived in several big cities as well to include international cities and I totally 100% disagree with what you just wrote. I was born and raised in BTR and left for college and never really came back for longer than a year here and there. I recently spent near a decade in SoCal and decided to move back to BTR with my wife and kids. What an awesome place Baton Rouge is! Southerners are the kindest, warmest, most trustworthy people in the world and Baton Rouge epitomizes these characteristics. There is a genteelness and charm to Southern living that make it easy for transplants like Skip Bertman to stay and live out his days. The public education in the cities you listed are horrendous - most of us send our kids to private and/or parochial schools no matter what city we reside in. Baton Rouge is just the right size even for "cultured" people. The cities you mentioned are for sure more "liberal" but that is to their detriment. I am so sorry you cannot get into the Baton Rouge Country Club, try The Spectrum Club.

50 pager.

Don't disagree with most. FYI, this applies more so to the vast majority of SEC schools/towns. At least in Baton Rouge, you have some NOLA influence and the people, most of them, are great, kind, friendly people who can COOK and enjoy LIFE! Don't get that up north or in any other SEC town.

i don't think baton rouge is a great place to live, but it's not horrible. if miles really dislikes it, he shouldn't have a problem leaving for michigan.
