You don't say that stuff to the media.

I would absolutely love to see Les put some heat on his assistants. As a HC, you cannot always be Mr Nice Guy. I think this is one of LM´s major faults.

quote:Funny how Mack talks Crap, but Greg Davis has been his OC for many years now. If it were not for VY/Colt their offense would have sucked just the same as this season and past ones.

Edit: Chances Mack makes a change at OC after the year less than 10%. Some O position coaches will be offered up if anyone goes, but not his boy Davis.

There comes a time -- e.g., when you're ranked preseason top 5 and completely go in the shitter, as Texas has -- that you need to embarrass some people. Kudos to Mack for saying what needed to be said.

Things are falling apart in Texas, and this comment is evidence of such.

I wish him luck finding people to work for him after calling out on national media!

And you assume that he does not do this because in the 4 minutes of air time you see of him each week he is not ripping people to shreds and yelling at coaches?
Calling out coaches and players to the media = no class
Doing it behind closed doors = class
I'd rather the guy who handles it the right way than the guy who thinks that he is above everyone and should criticize people publicly. Does your boss go on the news and talk shite about your performance?

Les would never say that to his buddy gary

I know it's hard to believe but things are worse in Texas than LSU.
No one in this thread has any idea what Les says to his coaches. Les keeps everything in house, I know that drives the fans crazy but whatcha gonna do?

I agree - Mack's comments should have probably been contained to the facility and not out in the media though. Wonder what Muschamp is thinking right now? It ain't like his defense is lights out this year.

Disagree. I'll take a average season once every decade over Les Miles' body of work.

I think the stress is getting to Mac

If Miles said something like that, this board would melt down with rantards saying Miles is placing the blame on his assistant coaches rather than taking responsibility himself.

didn't he say or imply that rr should have caught the pass from jj that was intercepted? didn't he throw jj under the bus last year?
Posted on 10/26/10 at 8:58 am to High Life Bengal
Les throws players under the bus all the time, but he's not gonna throw his buddies under the bus
