My friends and I actually spent a couple years only eating Mexican on our nights out to determine this. I love Casa Maria's queso still. When Los Gallos was still open, their white queso was awesome

Worst is Izzos by far..
They charge you a ton for it and give you next to none. Then its a crappy yellow queso.

I havent found a place worse in BR.

Casa Maria is good and Salsaritas is good. Las Palmas is also good.

I've only been to the one in Denham but it was awful. Superior's is very good as well as La Tiendita.

I love everything at Izzo's but the queso. It's awful. So is Qdoba and Salsaritas. Zippy's actually has pretty good queso, though I typically prefer white queso.

Ninfa's is tough to beat.

The one on bluebonnet and burbank is pretty damn good. I havent had their queso.. but their food and service are great for the price. Excellent lunch specials too. That sucks that the one out there isnt on par.

Champps had pretty good queso before they closed. The nachos were money.
