No Label out in Katy. ...
I'd add Fat Hen to that list. I like their brunch. ...
Stonebridge is much better than Barriere but more expensive. I played Stonebridge over the weekend and the course played pretty well. Haven't gotten out to Barriere since Isaac. They say they're back to normal but the last time I played in June the course was in terrible shape. ...

re: What happened to Matt Grothe?

Yeah, I think he tore his ACL during his junior season. That and being 6 foot probably killed his draft stock. ...
I used to love the Flying Chicken Tenders at Houston's, but both locations in NOLA don't serve them anymore. I guess they went from "off the menu" to actually off the menu. ...
From the jersey website:
The Main Star Player Is Drew Brees And Coach Is Always Is Sean Payton
At least they spelled his name right ...

Navy will be a borderline bowl team again this year. Last year they lost five games by three points or less, including at South Carolina. Trey Miller split time last year and still has a learning curve with the triple option. I think Navy could eke out a win here if ND doesn't show up. ...
Half days on Fridays. Out at 11! :nana:...
Staubach. You also have to remember he didn't play for four years out of college because of his service commitment to the Navy. Then again, that's what caused him to be drafted by the Cowboys so low. ...
I wouldn't have expected them to. Lawrence Frank was on half an hour before that and he wasn't asked anything about the Pistons....
Loved everything he said, especially the stuff about Jack. Glad to see the Hornets in the national media and glad to see we actually have a competent coach now....

re: Hornets fans have "Clipper envy"?

Whatever "Clipper Envy" people perceived that I had died after our season series. I hate the Lakers because of who they are but I hate the Clippers for what they've become. I'd much rather have an offseason full of hope rather than accomplishment at this point. Because hope is two top 10 picks b...
Is it bad I thought this was in New Orleans? Also, between things like this and that MLB catcher being kidnapped last year I always wonder why these guys just don't move their families out of Central/South America. ...
Rogers Communications owns the stadium and the team so they have free reign to do what they please. I visit family up there about once a year and the story is always that Rogers will upgrade the stadium but not tear it down. Apparently it's used for the CFL team and other large events. I doubt Roger...
I don't know about favorite but I can say that Rogers Centre (formerly SkyDome) is definitely my least favorite venue. It's way too big for baseball, has a very antiseptic feel, and now I have to pay more for beers with the exchange rate and buy them one at a time (I know, :WAH:). ...
Lod Cook? I'm sure the prints will be overpriced but that'd be my first stop. Probably the mall after that. ...
