I was down to 193 before last weekend, and we had out of town guests and I went out of control. Monday, back at 198. Today, down to 195.5.
MUST. GAIN. CONTROL. OF. WEEKENDS.

Don't drink. That is what ruins my weekends. If I drink I eat. If I don't, I can manage well.

With Miles I'm beyond drinking. Another game like that and I'll be on heroin. As it is he'll drive enough to drink that we could get a group discount at The Betty Ford Clinic.

holding steady at 238 a week and one day after starting at 244. Had a great day today with grilled vegetables, rice, and grilled shrimp for lunch and salad for dinner. But, got hungry later and ate some food. Still probably around 1500-2000 calories for the day, though.
see what tomorrow holds.

myth..its ok. i was losing weight and got stuck FOR AN ENTIRE MONTH at one number. i had been losing for months prior to that and hadn't changed anything so i didn't panic and kept doing the same thing..then suddenly i lost almost 10lbs over the next 2 weeks.
in short..it happens..this is your body's natural response to try and be at equilibrium.
in fact, according to men's health you might actually WANT to stop losing temporarily when you have lost..say 10% of your body weight.
be patient. don't get discouraged. keep doing the things that have worked for you. it will start to move again.

Oh wait... a third is irrelevant.
I was up to 226 this AM from 223 over the last few days. I guess the weekend finally caught up to me on the scale. Did run week 8, day 2 of the Couch to 5K plan yesterday evening, though... and today I'm determined to keep it healthy.
Special K bar for breakfast plus some coffee with no-cal sweetener only. 90ish calories. I should probably eat more for breakfast.

Sometimes it seems like there is a lag in when I cheat and gorge and when the scale moves. Or when I've been running and dieting the other way. I can't really explain it. Chances are, I'll be back down tomorrow morning.

You need to remember sodium and water gain. If something you eat is loaded with sodium, even if low cal, you can end up gaining weight.
I am about to go mental as I am now on day freaking 5 of my plateau and I haven't had more than 1,200 calories or 1500mgs of sodium in over a week.
