I'm going to visit a friend of mine in Metairie for opening weekend of CFB. He just moved there and doesn't know a lot of the "hang out" locations. What is a good restaurant to go to and watch CFB for much of the day?

TIA

Be aware that sleeveless shirst are required brah...

Seriously, make the short trip to Lakeview or N.O. to watch the game. Parlays (LV), Bull Dog (LV), Henrys (Uptown), Balcony Bar (Uptown), etc... are good places just to name a few

Ive never been to Balcony for a game but the others are good. Also if you want to stay in Metairie try JB's. Its on metairie road and is a pretty cool little place.

Balcony bar (Upstairs) is a gem for football bc it doesn't get overly crowded and it has a # of nice big TVs

I don't think anyone is debating this.

One place I've heard about, but never been to in Metairie is Out of Bounds Sports Bar on Vets and North Turnbull.

Caddyshack is a decent neighborhood bar with lots of TV's in Metry. Good spot to catch a game.
