In all honesty, the Hornets. I was a Baron Davis fan before they came to town.

I also rooted for the Houston/Ward/Ewing Knicks

ETA: If I had followed basketball in the early 90s I would have definitely been a Bulls guy. I'm sort of an after-the-fact Jordan fan, because I just really didn't watch basketball until age 9-10.

Whichever team the Round Mound of Rebound played for. Loved that guy. He will always be my all time favorite player.

After they left, the Julius Erving-lead Philadelphia 76ers, then the Boston Celtics. After the late 80s, no one.

Want to see the Hornets have success, but not a huge fan.

Early on it was the Celtics because of the Chief (and the inordinate amount of white players). Then in the 1990's I was kind of a nomadic fan. The Nuggets of 1994 were really fun to watch, and the Suns around that time were fun.

Most often, though, I just rooted for the Bulls to lose in the Finals because just about every "die-hard" Bulls "fan" I knew was a complete fagg.

The Bulls, probably for the same reason as the Cubs... WGN broadcasts.

i too was a clippers fan. the clip boys at one time had lamar odom, cory maggette, keyon dooling, quentin richardson, darius miles. they were exciting to watch even though they didn't win a lot of games.

Started out as a Pistons fan back in the early '90s, and then discovered the Spurs. Switched my favorite team to the Celtics when the Lakers went on their three-peat to annoy one of my good friends. Once the Hornets said they were moving to New Orleans, I immediately switched my allegiance to them.

i just watched the league in general... if i was more conscious of picking a team back then it would have been the knicks probably... i loved when they beat miami.

other than that i wanted the lakers and bulls to lose. the rockets were the closest team so i got to see them on FSN Southwest and they were good, but they were bland to me. i couldn't appreciate barkley while he was playing. i only liked the jazz when they were playing the bulls. likewise with the pacers.

I still don't really have a team. I was in Louisiana for exactly two years after the Hornets moved. I like the Hornets but I don't watch too many of their games or have any Hornets shirts. Once the Hornets are eliminated, I just casually root for the teams in the playoffs that has some of my favorite players. So usually if there are some Duke guys or just players I enjoy watching like Chris Bosh/Ray Allen/Dirk.
