How are ppl planning to get London game tickets? Woke up at 3 AM on Monday and was 150,000th in line and didn’t get tickets? Didn’t get them through season tickets holdings either.

Glad that y’all are back home after getting some fluids! That’s always the biggest concern with such high fevers that keep recurring. I would stress not to go to urgent care anymore for the duration of the pregnancy, especially after 24 weeks. The fetus is considered viable at that time and your wife’s doctor will have to assess the well being of your wife and the fetus at that point. Best wishes with getting over this hump and hope for an uneventful remainder of the pregnancy.
Not so much different than the general population. We were originally concerned that preggos would be more susceptible due to their immunocompromised state, but hasn’t necessarily been shown to be true. Most patients do well, which I hope for you CE Tiger, but the ones that get hypoxia go down hill quickly due to decreased baseline respiratory reserve secondary to the pregnant uterus. Masks, wash hands, the general stuff. If you she does have access to the vaccine, take it. It’s not a live vaccine.
You wouldn’t go to the ED with the general population at 23 weeks pregnant. You would go to triage which is on labor and delivery. Ed will send anyone over 20 weeks to triage, but I’m glad you’re getting fluids since that was my initial concern with such a high temp. Unfortunate thing about urgent care is that it can literally be staffed by anyone: someone who quit residency after a year, a second year resident moon lighting, a fam Med doctor that trained at a small facility. In the future, would recommend going to your OB’s hospital. Triage’s generally have very little wait and you will be evaluated quickly. For transparency sake, I am an obgyn.
Well, it would be important to test for influenza versus Covid. Tamiflu needs to be started in a 48 hour time window and all ppl that live in the house would be offered prophylactic treatment. Need to make sure she’s not tachycardic as that as a response along with fever. Tachycardic mom=tachycardic fetus. Fluids could be necessary with a temp that high. Pretty lazy of your ob not to evaluate her in triage. Uti, pyelo, blood clots, intrauterine infection other sources of fever in pregnancy. Is it likely Covid? Yes. With persistent undulating fevers, would recommend getting evaluated.
Personal favorite is the 2008 Turkish study of surgeons and decreased PO2 among 50 surgeons...

PS. I’m a surgeon

Simple google search reveals this...

The Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS) is a conservative non-profit association founded in 1944. The group was reported to have about 5,000 members in 2014. The association has promoted a range of scientifically discredited hypotheses, including the belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that being gay reduces life expectancy, that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer, and that there is a causal relationship between vaccines and autism. It is opposed to the Affordable Care Act and other forms of universal health insurance.

YouTube TV

Got an email about no longer carrying regional fox networks after feb 29??? Frustrating Bc I just switched from psvue because they had it to watch pels games.

Other ways to get fsno?
Ah yeah, Vinos was still around and very underrated. Calzones were fantastic and they brewed their own beer.
Lived there for 4 years: plenty of great spots

Breweries: Lost forty, flyaway, rebel kettle, diamond bear (in that order) are all pretty great and have good food too

Nicer restaurants: petit and keet, So, south on main, Arthur’s steakhouse

Casual/lunch spots: big orange, Maddie’s place, 3 fold noodle company, whole hog bbq, heights pizzeria
So currently there is no way to steam Hulu TV or YouTube TV through the ps4, which im hoping they will change now they are getting rid of psvue. Have my ps4 setup as a media center with surround sound and what not so would rather not have to rewire through an Apple TV, Roku, sling, firestick, etc.
They’re actually not having it for a completely different reason. The games are primarily on cbs and fox. Espn only has the international and I think military coverage so fox/cbs wasn’t about to let ole boog be riding down their sidelines. Don’t be surprised if it’s back next year.
I mean between the plane tickets, game tickets, and hotel room...it really is a drop in the bucket, just seeing if there were any other options there. Plenty of bars in uptown that have good music and yard games and then grab an Uber before the game
So paying 85 for all you can eat bbq, water, 2 drinks, and access to a bar with yard games and music? Sounds pricey.

Today was truly the day of the dead...bills was obviously a poor choice after I switched from the Texans.
You have to lead with trump ace if you have it? I played once about 8 years ago, been a while...

Huge influx of breweries in the last 3 years.

Diamond bear is the original one. They moved locations in the last year is pretty sweet. Decent food. Their blonde and presidential IPA are good.

Lost Forty is probably the best one in town. It's huge. All of their beers are fantastic and great appetizers.

Rebel Kettle is the newest one on the block. Right around the corner from Lost Forty. They have the widest variety of beers and they seem to change every week. Their chef is from south louisiana somewhere and food is good.

Blue Canoe is awesome, small tap room. They have a restaurant joined that sells burritos, tacos, etc. which is really good. Their beer may be my second favorite behind Lost Forty

Stones throw is really small and their beer is really hit or miss. I really like their good ones, but the majority of them aren't that great. Little sitting space. No food, but they usually have food trucks which is always a plus to try different foods.
