I can't bring myself to pull for either but I have no problem pulling against Bama.

Bama.

But against any other conference I'd gladly root for our neighbor texas.

I am trying to be positive. If Texas wins then I can laugh at the gumps but have to put up with the UT fans in my family and where I live (Houston). If Bama wins then it is SEC dominance again which is good too but have to listen to Bama fans for who knows how long. Not really thrilled either team is in the game. Wish Nebraska and Florida had won the conference championships.

Don't want Bama to get a crystal football but if they do Jimmy Sexton will be shopping Saban anywhere who might be willing to give him 6 mil+, if he already hasn't begun. You might say nobody would pay him 6 mil. Don't kid yourself. Mack Brown will be getting 5 mil for the remainder of his time at UT, somebody will definitely give Saban 6 mil. Don't rule out the Golden Domers just yet. They could easily pay Charlie Weis' buyout, Saban's payout to Bama to void his contract, and pay whatever annual salary/benefit package it would take to get him. Why haven't they announced a coach yet? Is it because their man is coaching in a bowl game? I'm sure it is and the man they have in their sights might well be Nicky. Will be very interesting if Bama does win the NC. They might get the crystal football but lose a coach. Anybody who thinks he is really at Bama for the long haul is insane. Look at his track record. Has never stayed anywhere longer than 5 years. Soon as he wins the NC he'll be looking to get out. His job as the Savior who resurrects dying programs will be accomplished.

Not familiar with Nick's contract with Bama but I seriously doubt a Sexton negotiated contract contains a buyout clause.

He didn't have one here at LSU.

obviously texas

and it has nothing to do with alabama/saban hatred

alabama, or any SEC school, winning helps LSU in no way, in fact it hurts...so i root against SEC schools

I say Ole Myth got a lay up for the cotton bowl. So I guess you guys will be preseaon top 10 again lol.

Just pray there are no expectations for Nutt and you'll have a decent year and get to watch the SECCG from home as usual.

I'm going to abstain, but if I were to bet, the money would be on Bama.

Saban doesn't have a buyout. LINK

I'd love for him to end up at ND, but I think they'll get Kelly.

Hook em Horns. yes we recruit more in Texas than in Alabama, but Bama also recruits La and Miss, and we have to play them every year. plus I agree having Saban win a NC would frick LSU pretty hard.

I have talked to a lot of LSU fans and the majority are pulling for Bama.

I am also pulling for Bama. I have nothing against Texas, and I think they are a fine team. But I want the SEC to keep winning the NC games. Why? I dont know.

Additionally, I dont hate Saban at all. Miami pulled him out of Baton Rouge by thowing huge sums of cash at him. I would have taken that gig as well. Cant blame him.

Because as long as the SEC is winning the BCSCG, then when LSU wins the SEC, we'll be playing for the NC.

I would like to see Texas win, but it really doesn't matter. Mostly because I know that Bama is going to skull frick Texas to death.
