had it while tailgating before the Saints/Texans game.
the bread is tasty.
we had the ham/cheese, turkey/cheese, and roast beef and cheese finger sandwiches.

I would do it again.

I've had the #3 (tuna) and #5 (italian) before--both very good. JJ >>> Quiznos > Subway

Had it in Tuscaloosa. Perfect meal between a night of drinking and a day of tailgating.

JJ's is definitely my favorite sub shop chain. Used to eat there all of the time when I lived near one.

Just came back from eating at the new one on Perkins and the staff was friendly, food was great, and it was just as I expected based on previously eating at other locations.

Soft, fresh bread and you can buy the loaves from the day before for only $0.50. The Giant subs are more than enough food and they are only $5.50.

Convenient location for LSU students and they deliver. Anyone know what else is opening in that property?

I'm a big fan of the #5 and the #9, depending upon how hungry I am. It's a good and inexpensive option, and well ahead of Subway and Quizno's, in my view.

jimmy john's is awesome

I had one across the street from my dorm at Valpo, ate there like 3x/week

Pretty much anything on their menu is really good, but my favorites were their ham and cheese, roast beef, and turkey with avocado. The garg is pretty good too if you're hungry enough.

Well after reading that this was leagues better than Subway - I went tonight and was rather underwhelmed. The lack of options is a problem for me. I love how you can pick tons of different veggies and condiments to get at Subway. The quality of meats is better at JJs, but for me, that's not enough to make me choose it over Subway. To each their own, I guess.

ETA: The staff was nice and service was super quick - but that could be attributed to the staff of 8+ people working.

The national theme is they get your order completed quick...it'll continue to happen.

I had it in T-town and remember it being pretty good, but I was pretty drunk. I know it delivers real late.
