I ate at an Awful House on Airline yesterday and ordered my eggs basted.
They said they couldn't make basted eggs because they didn't have a basting brush. It was really hard to keep a straight face.

The fried eggs they serve are pretty much basted.. Sounds like you were trying to be a dick though..

I've eaten basted eggs all my life. Basted only with bacon fat and they are my favorite. Probably once a week since I was 5.

i had a big fluffy 3 egg omelet yesterday morning there and some grits & hash browns.
