So JPLSU, can YOU go and find me 5 tickets NOW and negotiate a price for me???
the most they will let one person buy is 6 tickets, and we need 4 for our group. Actually, though, I could get my dad to come stand in line with me and we could get you 5 reserved tix. The only thing, though, is he would probably want at least $40 per ticket as they would cost us $20 each and he'd have to come stand in line with me all morning so that we could get more than six tickets. I doubt he's gonna wanna stand in line all morning and not at least get something for it, lol.
Let me know if you want me to get him to do that. He'd probably be cool with it. I'll definitely be in the reserved line Friday morning and would just have to get him or my brother to come with me.
ETA: the more I think about it, I guess if any of you need me to do this, let me know. There's 4 of us, so we could actually potentially get a total of 24 reserved tickets (6 each) if all four of us went and stood in line. Of course we need 4 of the tickets for ourselves.

Oh, I forgot one thing ... While the the Rosenblatt ticket office opens at 10am on days where there are two games, it doesn't open until noon on games where there is only one game (which included the Championship series days).

getting tickets is so time consuming and frustrating...after 50-60 years you think they'd have a better system

no offense jplsu, but if you want to have fun GA is the only way. $10 tickets and you can seat almost anywhere but front row, except people like me that was first in line for both games. i was out there for 11am and had a blast drinking and meeting some locals, tigers, and others. the time flys and you have fun in the outfield bleachers.

It's cool, no offense taken. GA is fun. There's just so many things I don't like about GA. I don't like the line and the fact that you can't leave it. I don't like that you can't leave the stadium after getting in and reenter without getting in the GA line again. I don't like that every single GA seat is in the sun. I don't like that you have to wait in line all day. I don't like that 75% of GA is 15 year old kids. And I don't like that you can pay $10 more and avoid all that and do whatever you want to do all day.
I've done GA before and had fun, but I have more fun and have less stress the way we do it now. In my mind, there really is no positive for sitting in GA when you can get reserved tickets. All the fun of GA without the hassle. Unless, of course you are front row GA ... if you are front row, that's pretty cool, and that would be the only way that I'd sit in GA if I knew I was going to be on it.

Do you already have your GA tickets? I'm assuming you know that you have to have your tickets in hand when you get into the GA line.

i bought a book of 10 GA tickets from the local HY-Vee supermarket for $70. this avoids having to go the the Blatt just for tickets. parking is hard. CWS has a website with all places to buy tickets. i would call them first.

Did somebody say "parking"? cwsomaha.com has a list of where to buy GA tickets and also where to catch the shuttle. $3 each way.

sweet. We already outnumber other fanbases 4to1, but I have a feeling there is going to be a second wave of Tiger invasion for the weekend.

Can't make it for Monday, but plan on taking a flight from NO to KC on Monday evening and getting to Omaha around 2am Tuesday morning. I plan on getting up early and trying to upgrade GA seats, which I still need to order two for Tuesday and two for Wednesday. The thing I will be pissed about is if I stand in line to upgrade and can't and then the ga line is too long and then can't get in at all. I plan on getting to the ticket office around 6am on Tuesday morning, so hopefully that will be early enough. I know, gotta wait 6 hours till the ticket office opens.

JPLSU, if you could get me 2 for Game 2, that would be great. I don't mind paying for $50 a piece for reserves seats or whatever you feel is reasonable. My brother and I are flying up Monday night and should be in Omaha around 2am Tuesday morning. I was going to buy 2 ga tickets for Tuesday and 2 ga for Wednesday and just go stand in the ga line. I would be worried that if I stood in the ticket line and didn't get upgraded, then I would be too late to go stand in the ga line as well, since the ticket office doesn't open till 12. I am guessing the ga line will start forming at 8am. I was there this past weekend and left Monday after the Arky game.
Let me know if you can get me two for Game 2. In the meantime, I am going to order two GA tickets for Tuesday and Wednesday, that way I have something if you can't get them.
Thanks,
Weaver
