i heard someone on the radio talk about how good this was. take a k.c. doenut, slice it in half, sweet side towards meat, just treat doenut as buns and make a regular hamburger with fixings.
said it was great.

no, but I take two toaster waffles with syrup and put about half a pound of bacon between them.

I have heard of it, but I'm waiting for them to serve it with a defibrillator on the side.

it honestly looks like you could die from eating that thing ... i guess KK is so desperate to revive itself that it will try anything ... i still laugh at the investor idiots that thought flour, yeast, and water was actually worth $60 a share ..

Luckily I have matured past an obscene glucose obsession that might make something like that look remotely edible.

Actually seems you haven't even matured past the most basic childhood lesson : if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all. You don't sound like a gourmet to me, just a yuppie snob ... let others enjoy their comfort foods and you can enjoy yours.

Damn, I wish I was. But let's break it down, gourmet, not sure, since I see things in the grocery store like "gourmet" cat food, don't know that I want to be. But I do have high standards and I can likely prepare meals better than 98% of the posters.

Yuppie? Young urban professional? 0 for 3 there.

Snob? Guilty and proud of it.

More of a GRUMPIE, gray urbane maintenance problem.

Not only laughable, but incredibly conceited. I was taught to cook in the kitchens of Ville Platte, LA old man. I am fairly confident I can go toe to toe on execution with anyone.

On this particular board?

Where do you get that number? Whose cooking here have you had?

Probably, I'm just pulling a number out of my hat because I read so many poster who go gaga over anything wrapped in bacon, stuffed with cream cheese or marinated in eye-talian dressing.

Did you steal my award? They are on you like flies on a rib roast.

I agree and I'll happily say I'm in the other 2%. At least you didn't say "dago" dressing.

Remember this is a pro-Poncho's crowd. A lot of them probably post by tele-prompter.

This is not comfort food. This is a novelty act. Comfort food is meatloaf and mashed potatos; pot roast and rice and gravy.

He made his point and you should respect him for that. Hang around this board and you may realize he knows something about food. Show your arse and you can go back with the rantards.

"Martini" ... now at least the other guy had a down-to-earth food nickname. Yours is classic food snob.

Closing ranks to protect your own? I guess now you'll roll out your posse of unforgiving gourmets to flame me to a cinder. That guy took care of himself just fine and he had a sense of humor about it. Besides, I already made an acknowledgement of having unnecessarily accused him of being what you now more certainly appear to be - a yuppie twerp with an inflated opinion of yourself. Doubt it would take long around here to see your version of impressing everybody with your superior taste in all things.

If a poster likes a particular dish - even if it's a hamburger with donuts for buns - it's nobody's place to tell them how wrong they are. Why not just let them have their own favorites just as you have yours?

I'll take the donutburger fans over you and your pals anytime. Flame away, board legends.
