Would Wes Johnson be interested if Jay threatens with the MLB again?

Wouldn’t have to change coach jersey’s name or size.

Jay isn’t going to the pro’s man. Enough with that nonsense.

Jay isn't leaving, but to answer your question, there isn't a better college baseball job than LSU (maybe a couple tied), so I think almost anyone would listen.

You could get anyone not named Dave Van Horn and MAYBE O'Connor.

Is it really a threat if no team in MLB would actually consider hiring him?

In the 150 history of MLB there has only been ONE occasion where a college manager with no MLB experience was hired to be a MLB manager, Vitello...and he's not exactly off to a great start. Considering that, plus the fact MLB teams wouldn't be hiring a new manager until, at least, October, any "threat" Jay could make should be quickly ignored.

Man, this board has gone full retard this baseball season.

Also, can you provide a link to a quote where Jay threatened to go to MLB?

Michael Earley wouldn't be on my top 1000 coaches to hire.

Schloss is a (alleged) gay swinger cuck, so I didn't consider him either.

Hell no. If you think he is a good coach go back and look at his post season record

I’m not considering them either, though they both own JJ head to head (Early 5-1 and came to the Box and dominated us).

Just saying Verge isn’t pulling either of them, nor should he even be thinking search unless JJ shits the bed again next year.

No thanks. Jay is still my favorite.

Go get Tony V if needed, but I prefer Jay Johnson the most.

That’s the exception, if Tony wants back in the college game Verge makes the tough call and gets it done.

The amount of time he spent having to re-recruit his own roster soured him on the current state of college baseball. It was a contributing factor to him pursuing the Giants job.
