Rev share has nothing to do with this shitty team, the baseball team is better funded and has better facilities than 90% of the country

There are 300 teams, if our facilities aren’t in the top 30, Jay’s complaints are absolutely justified.

And better funded than State. Fan support is about even. LSU just happens to have higher expectations… and understandably so.

This is stupid. Y’all act like this is the first year of this. We won the championship just last year and State hasn’t won anything this year. A few thousand dollars in revenue share doesn’t mean much at all.

The only thing State did better was pack 15k into their ball park which is bigger and nicer than the Box.

They paid a lot more for their roster this year than we did.

What is your reasoning for Coastal Carolina being in the Top 10?

Do they have better funding, rev share, NIL and facilities than LSU?

And yet LSU could have won all three if we had a bull pen.

Well maybe if we had more dollars to offer, we could have got a stud pitcher

Just takes a couple of elite players to make a huge difference

I didn’t make the 90% claim. I just made sure people know what 90% actually means.

ETA: the reality is that the player facilities should only be compared to the top 10-12 schools in the country, not the 300. Because we’re realistically only competing with 10-12 schools for the top players.

As to the state of the facilities, I don’t know, but Jay wants a specific facility we don’t have yet.

But I was only doing a math problem, not commenting on the actual state of the facilities.

The native talent should give LSU a better team than this any year with the hometown discount.

What does their rev share have to do with our fielders being unable to throw the ball to 1st?

Let's get off the money kick. I am sure a lot of these guys are very well paid, and the fact is that a lot of them are not SEC caliber players.

You overestimate both the amount of talent the state puts out year over year and the effect that TOPS scholarships have in the current environment.

That extra 500K in rev share would've made all the difference. No way we can keep up with the spending of Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Bethune Cookman, Sacramento St.

And yet LSU still was competitive with them while not having 2 of their starting pitchers or their best player.

Imagine Miss St without their Friday and Saturday guy and no Ace Reese. They had those dudes and still gave up 8 runs while LSU had no Jake Brown.

I do agree LSU needs to get better elite transfer like Tommy White and Anthony Eyanson. I hope they can make the money work for this.
