Honest Question. Are we done if we lose this game?

Do we have any chance?

We were done long before this game.

Yes, just a real bad one. Need a lot to go our way.

We’ve been done. This team is toast. The best thing is the young guys getting experience

We do not. Don’t really have much of a shot even with a win. We’d need 8 wins out of the next 9 games with two very good teams left to play.

We are closer than you think to turning it around.

This horse has been beaten to death long before today.
It’s just animal cruelty at this point

We were done before this series. Lucky if LSU gets 30 wins. Terrible year.

They've been done. They might not win another game. This is the worst pitching staff I've ever seen at LSU. Even the starters are average.

We are done even if we win this game

Youre not serious right? You know the answer buddy
Posted on 4/26/26 at 4:16 pm to Sweat Hazel
No. Nobody is going home. They will finish the season. Frontrunners are the worst.

We don't have the pitching to turn it around. We're done.

The most losses we could have (without winning the SEC tournament) is 18, but that would be pushing it a ton.
17 losses and a win in Hoover and we're in. 16 losses and we're in.
Mathematically, our magic number for losses, if we lose this game, is 2. I would not count on us getting in at 18 losses.
So, we'd have to go 7-2 from here on out if we lost today.

Do we even want to go beyond the minimum required to complete the season at this point?
Posted on 4/26/26 at 4:19 pm to Sweat Hazel
yes, team is done unless they win the SECT. That is their only realistic path to a regional now.

What would be forever known in LSU baseball lore as The Miracle in Hoover is our only chance of making the postseason

The Evans news ended any hope that was left. Without Evans, they don’t have enough quality pitchers to cover 27 innings over a weekend.
