we were done two weekends ago

You need 13 sec wins. I can't believe the pen let us down this weekend

We need probably 13 sec wins
I’m exhausted over doing the math

Evans and Moore are done. They were done before today.

While i somewhat agree with you regarding this team but loosing its best three players and doesn't have a sec caliber infielder on its roster. I don't think you can really fix this in one year if im being honest. A&M, Miss st, Georgia were all built over a period of two years through recruiting classes and the portal. We got a ton of pitching depth to work on aswell. Its a massive undertaking. I never bought into the hype this year as far as this being a championship caliber team but I don't think anyone thought we would be as bad as this at everything. We don't do anything well.

You don't....win or lose.

Bro. We were done a month ago.
Next year.
Next year.

Not mathematically - it would take a 7-2 finish, which is basically impossible.

Are we done if we lose this game?

After the ole miss series it was over. They stink and you got swept. We lost a series to a 3 win sac state team at the box. None of these results should be surprising.

This is the worst pitching staff I've ever seen at LSU. Even the starters are average.
with our bats, if we had average starters we'd be hovering around 500 in conference, with a few wins over good teams.
We have below average starters, and terrible relievers. They may have great potential (upper 90's fastballs and wicked offspeed pitches), but as of now it's bad.
Take Rizi- he's going to get drafted somewhere, because he's tall and can push 98-99 mph. He's a prospect. But right now, he can't throw that pitch for a strike more than 1-2 times in an appearance.
That's the opposite of someone like Guidry, who can throw strikes, but can't throw one past batters consistently.

Do we have any chance?
Technically? No. Looking back, we were probably done when we lost Moore. Too many deficiencies.
This team is not as good as we hoped, and as the early season may have led us to believe. I also think this team is not as bad as they have looked the last several weeks

Any chance at what? Fricking the homecoming queen?
Posted on 4/26/26 at 4:55 pm to Sweat Hazel
Well technically we have 9 sec games left. If the Tigers swept
, we'd finish 15-15. Actually if they won 7 of 9 and 13-17 there could be a chance with a couple dubs in the sec tourney. But, to actually answer your question, yeah we done, we been done. You could see it coming after LSU lost a series to Sac State.
