3 men ended up breaking the previous WR. It’s the first time anyone has gone sub 2 in a WR qualifying event. Absolutely insane. 4:34 pace per mile.

Absolutely flying. With all the records falling this had to be wind aided or something.

The finish line is a lower elevation than the beginning. Must be within allowable limits or the record wouldn't count.

A friend just finished in 3:44...couldn't imagine someone running twice as fast the whole time. Absolutely insane

You circle back on yourself quite a lot so not sure how much wind assistance would help as you would face the opposite for a substantial amount of time

Kajelcha has the greatest range of any runner ever.

Broke the indoor mile record in 2019 and now running sub 2. Never run a marathon with a 2 at the front lmao

Probably needs investagating. Not really posible for the human body to do this naturally! Now, if steroids would be alowed like they should, since sports are for FAN entertainment, then this argument could be dropped for good. However, as it curently stands, im claiming cheating!

are these the ones with the metal plate/spring that help propel you?

I have a pair of running shoes that has a lesser version of this tech and it def makes you feel very springy

Adidas has been paying for Sawe to have the most rigorous testing of any athlete in the world in any sport because they thought this was possible. He’s being tested upwards of twice a week.

Either on something new and undetectable or we’ve got another big leap in shoe tech. Both could be possible.

That’s 13.14 miles per hour. Insane! I can’t run that fast for 100 yards at a dead sprint and I run a lot. Try putting a tread at 10 MPH and see if you can keep up.

Kejelcha is such a versatile and amazing runner, but his resume doesn’t do him justice.

No Olympic medals of any color and never a world champion (though he has silvers).

I bet if you asked 100 experts who is better between him and Mo Farah, 60 percent or more would pick Kejelcha.

He’s never had the big kick needed to win championship races. Just a pure diesel. The marathon should be perfect for him.
