Kyle also campaigned against President Trump’s reelection back in 2024. So this endorsement is definitely on brand.

quote:

"Hi, I'm Kyle Rittenhouse, Outreach Director for Texas gun rights. A lot of people are upset that I said that I'm going to be writing in Ron Paul for president of the United States, and that is true, I will be writing in Ron Paul," the 21-year-old said in the clip, referring to the former Texas congressman.

"Unfortunately, Donald Trump had bad advisers, making him bad on the Second Amendment, and that is my issue," Rittenhouse said in a video posted on social media. "If you cannot be completely uncompromisable on the Second Amendment, I will not vote for you, and I will write somebody else in. We need champions for the Second Amendment or our rights would be eaten away and eroded each day."

Another race where money is being pissed away challenging a career politician who won’t leave office.

Trump, probably: I never liked Rittenhouse. Never liked him. Bad guy. And ungrateful. We did so many great things for him. You wouldn't believe it. Fantastic things.

Is there anything inaccurate in Rittenhouse’s statement about Trump and 2A?

Yeah, literally everything.

If President Trump loses in 2016, Heller is overturned and the Second Amendment is basically rendered meaningless. Voting against Trump because you support “gun rights” is absolutely retarded.

Exactly.. he's young and idealistic, as all young people should be.

Is that really a good excuse for Kyle though? Trump supporters donated millions to his legal defense fund. It sure as hell wasn’t broke Ron Paul stoners donating to his defense fund.

yes. he's young... he'll come around with age, like most people do. That's okay. He doesn’t "owe" his supporters anything. *shrug*

If not for MAGA, Kyle would have been stuck with a lawyer like SFP instead of a legal team, experts, and a jury consultant.

You're right.

Does that make him beholden to the politics of his benefactors?

I think you are missing my point. Kyle’s comments about Trump can’t be explained away as youthful ignorance. He was on trial for 3 counts of murder and a political movement rallied behind him to give him the best defense possible. Deciding to criticize that same group after all of that is a deliberate choice in my opinion.
