Definitely think he’s gonna be another Matt Flynn. Go be a back up behind a solid vet and ball out in back up duty for a few games and get paid well for it.

The GN at LSU Story absolutely would have turned out differently if he had a different OL Coach.

Just change that one thing and it's a different ball game.

Dysfunctional Davis and his Guardian Devil Woodward really ruined it for everybody.
.
It all eventually led to the Kiffin hire though, so ALL IS WELL. (Or it should be)

Watch Nuss decide to take off and run more in the NFL and become a legit NFL top 10-15 QB

I'm not saying he's going to be great...

but he was probably a first round pick before last year, and that seems to be a physical issue that is getting resolved.
He's actually intriguing as hell, because last year was a disaster- but he clearly couldn't throw with velocity. Now he seems like he can again. And he was caught up in a shitshow with Kelly and Sloan, and very high expectations that cratered. A fresh start might be exactly what he needs.

Another Purple and Gold sunglass wearing LSU fan.

Nuss was FAR from a 1st round pick last year. His constant throws off his back foot, his inability to quickly read blitzs, his fear of throwing to the middle of the field, his lack of accuracy past 15 yards. Nuss had a 61% completion in 24 with 15 TDs and 10 Ints. Do you realize how mediocre those numbers are? BTW, before Vandy and OK, Nuss had a 57% completion with 9 TDs and 8 Ints.

This weird revionist history you guys have with certain LSU players is such an odd thing.

I tried to watch it but Bust called a time out in the first minute and a half so I turned it off.

What are you smoking dude? He had 29 tuds and 12 ints with a 64% comp in 2024, he threw for over 4k yards with no running game to help.

Not trying to hate on a guy who was all LSU for 5 years.

I don’t have memories of him “taking over” a game like I expect “Elite” players to do.

Not saying he didn’t play well or didn’t have great games but I don’t think of him as having a “killer” instinct.

Likely a completely story with a proper diagnosis of his injury. You can have equipment managers making medical diagnosis.
