Blind authoritarianism doesn't foster faith in the church.

I got some news for him,

Jesus' mission is not to direct the policies of governments.

It's is to save the souls of individual humans.

I thought Christ was king and not some pope.

Only Jesus Christ is perfect. Only His word is infallible.

Woe to those who set themselves up as another Jesus, taking glory for themselves that rightly belongs to the true Head of the Church.

No, it's not. MAGA is though. If Trump says it, you trust in him. There is at least dogma and doctrine in Catholicism and Orthodoxy. MAGA has tweets and memes

I'm Catholic and will criticize him whenever I see fit. He needs to stay out of politics.

So long as Trump keeps him up at night I'm good.

Two posts, two strikes.

I think Trump is wrong on this war and said so repeatedly and consistently.

I also think this pope is a two faced hypocrite Marxist.

The Pope position is a joke. I say get rid of it and turn Vatican City into a museum. A relic of the past of when people actually thought the Pope position meant a damn.

Ding.

His was always an individual message.

He told individuals to open their hearts and be kind to their neighbors, for the wealthy to help the poor. He did not call for governments to confiscate the wealth of people to give it away to others who "need" or "deserve" it.

He did not tell the less fortunate it was okay to be lazy, shiftless or dishonest. He did not tell the able-bodied that they could sit around and do nothing.

And I always get a chuckle when someone says the death penalty was against His teachings. When He forgave the thief hanging next to Him while He was nailed to the cross, He didn't tell the Centurions to let the thief down. He told the thief he would be with Him in Heaven. In other words, the thief was a man subject to man's law and the sentence for the crime he was convicted.

Rep. Troy Nehls (R-Texas), who has been hailed by Trump as a "reliable MAGA ally," on Thursday told reporters that he thinks Trump "is better than sliced bread," adding, "I think he’s almost a second coming, in my humble opinion."

Oh, look, Protestants misrepresenting quotes again. I don’t know if you are intentionally deceitful or just retarded.

Exactly.

His message is to people, not souless institutions.

When asked about institutions, he said to give unto Caesar what is Caesar's.
