According to Yahoo these are the ones that stand out. Have you enjoyed the one in your state, our in another one?

I know that when I want a go-to, impeccable source to find the absolute very best steak around, the first place I think of is Yahoo.

Enid depot is definitely not what I was expecting for MS

To me, it should be Como. That place is so damn good

How is doe's eat place the most iconic in Arkansas and not Mississippi, when it originated in Mississippi. I've never heard of the other one in Miss..

and how is it not Ruth's Chris for Louisiana?

My guess is that it's a franchise and not a single location? But let's be honest, Ruth's Chris is pretty damn good. I've eaten at a lot of steakhouses and RC is still pretty close to the top of my favorites.

NEW YORK: Peter Luger Steakhouse in Brooklyn

quote:

Peter Luger Steakhouse, established in 1887, is one of the most famous steakhouses in the United States.

And, though it may have lost its Michelin star in 2022, the New York mainstay is still a favorite among locals and tourists.

The Brooklyn institution is known for its dry-aged porterhouse steaks, no-nonsense service, and signature sides like creamed spinach and thick-cut bacon.

They lost their Michelin star for good reason. The steak was good, the bacon was better. For New York City steakhouses, our preference is Sparks Steak House.

Everyone's mileage varies, but RC is not even in my top 10.

Telling me you don't understand what an aggregator is without telling me you don't understand what an aggregator is.

I’ve been to Enid and Greenville Does several times and Does is superior.

Fair enough. If you want Cajun flair to your steak, unique side dishes, or fun atmosphere, etc., RC ain't the place.

But for just pure steak, it's pretty damned good. The 26oz cowboy ribeye might have been the best thing I've ever eaten.

Ruth's Chris is now a Chicago based national chain. Brennan's is a better choice.
