Can anybody explain this to me? Quite honestly, it sounds pedophilic to me.

Like unless the mother has Hep B, how is the baby going to get Hep B?

Bootlickers will tell you this is necessary. Easiest litmus test to see how insane the person is that you’re talking to. Absolutely no reason in 2026 for this to be administered at birth.

When our first was born over 20 years ago now, I asked the pediatrician on first visit the same thing. She said lot of nothing and then something about needed it get in school. She was pissed by this point; how dare someone research something and ask a question. We said no thanks and left.

Unc has it, mom is a drug user, dad is a tattoo enjoyer, ect

The medical community decided that it is safer to give vaccines when the baby is in their hands because for many babies, it might be the only time they are at hosptial for a long time. Same reason Mississippi had the strictiest vaccine requirments for ages

It is the only vaccine at birth that did catch my attention but it has been given at birth for over 30 years now, I don't think it is an issue.

Might want to check the stats on that bud. Life altering side effects up to and including death. Zero reason to get that vaccine or any of them really

It’s really a public health issue for trashy people or drug addicts that have kids and never follow up with their doctors. Even if the mother tests negative, trashy family members that take care of the child can easily pass it on. And then Medicaid is paying for the long term treatments for the chronic disease.
Do the people here really need to give it to their kids? Not really because those kids aren’t going to be exposed.

ETA: studies have shown the Hep B vaccine has prevented 6 million infections since ‘91

Covid shots being forced really fricked people up in the head.

This mindset is how we get polio back.

There are necessary vaccines.

Because other whore mothers can give their kids hep b and it then can go to your child.

That's the only reason really.

No, that would be open borders.

This was my understanding.. it got added to the mandatory list because that was the only way that people who would pass it to an infant would actually get the shot

there have only been 120 million or so births since it has been offered at birth

i guess we need more hard data before deciding if it is safe or not

I said it before and got some push back on here.

My son basically followed the vaccine schedule from my childhood. (80s)

Nothing crazy on there really. Nothing new.

Literally this exact same scenario last month with my one month old. Doc (lady) was super offended for me asking questions about transmission.
However, we got the shot for him.

Your kid will become artistic. But it’s ok, just bc he’s artistic don’t mean he’s gay
