So no difference really.

In WW2 the govt forced Ford, GM, etc to halt all civilian vehicle manufacturing and build military vehicles and bombs

During WWII the government tapped Remington Sewing Machine and Typewriters, along with Union Switch and Signal (railroads), to produce M1911 pistols and M1 Carbines.
So yeah, I'm good with all that OP.
It's good for the economy and good for our culture.
Quite honestly, China requires all manufacturing to have a side hustle producing weaponry, bonbs, etc., in case of war.

I get what you guys are saying, but we've been in conflicts my entire life. This isn't WW2 times.
We've been sending weapons to Ukraine for crying out loud. There have been companies to put your money into. And investing in AI that gets government contracts would also be part of this.

I'm waiting on a couple of drone centric private companies to go public this year ... and then I'm all in.
High tech military is definitely the way of the future. Drones, robotics, military grade chips and battlefield command and control tech.

Honestly, it’s prob not a bad thing. The rest of the world has gone crazy and war is only a matter of time at this point.

In WWII, England was our ally. They tapped a car company, Albion Motors, from Scottland, to build their version of the Webley .38-200. It was called the Albion No. 2. I ended up with one.
